This was the best place I could have chosen for my week long visit to Valparaiso! Set atop a small hill a mile south of Sotomayor Square the guest house is in a more quiet neighborhood. This area is convenient for visiting the UNESCO areas, but much more peaceful and safe for walking around. The room (I chose #3) had a view of the garden/ courtyard and was always cool and comfortable even in the hot weather. Every morning there was a delicious breakfast and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Located on the corner is a lovely cafe, and many more shops and cafes and restaurants are located a couple of blocks away. If I am so lucky as to visit Valparaiso again I will definitely be staying here!

The place is an amazing, Victorian house that was completely restored and has a boutique hotel feel ( only 5 beautiful rooms). Owner Claudio and his fiancée Marisol are kind and always there to help as far as where to go, what to see etc. They serve delicious breakfast on a vintage china which makes you feel like you traveled back in time. Our 9 year old absolutely loved it too! Highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Valparaiso!

Claudio and Marisol and really the entire staff are just wonderful. Very helpful. They have restored the house themselves and the pride they took really shows thru. A bit quirky, as you'll get with any old house, but tons of character. Much better than staying in a standard hotel. The area is great. Uber is cheap and makes it super easy to get around.

What a place!

Stepping inside the beautifully restored walls of this antique home, we immediately felt relaxed and comfortable. The hosts are ever so generous and warm. The owner shared that he completed the painstaking renovations over 15 years, and from the stunning brass fixtures in the bathroom to the original hardwood flooring, it shines. You will want to stay in the cozy bed forever. Enjoy a glass of wine or nespresso on the beautiful garden terrace and enjoy a glimpse of the ocean below and seabirds soaring overhead. This place has the elegance of a bygone era with all the warmth and hospitality a modern traveler searches for. Look no further for a great place to stay in Valparaiso.
