Amazing hotel, very affordable, beautiful grounds
Uma Dawa was one of my favorite hotels of my 15+ day stay across 5 countries. What I loved about this location was how it felt like walking inside a temple with beautiful gardens, statues, birds and a magnificent swimming pool in the hotel grounds. The room itself was very nice- reasonably large sized, spacious bathroom with all facilities I needed- fridge, AC, TV. The front-desk guy (whose name is Agung) was very helpful- he helped me with carrying suitcases, arranging scooter for me with GPS holder, giving travel/ laundry suggestions, and even helping me with Grab when I didn't like the price quoted for going to Seminyak (although they do offer that service too). There was a young boy who works there, who was very helpful who helped me by coming to my room when I struggled with locking door, turning AC on etc. and served lunch to the room. The location itself isn't super central- Ubud Palace was ~10 minute drive on scooter, rice terrace was ~20 minute, Monkey Sanctuary ~15. So if you can't drive a scooter/ don't walk to take Grab, it might be inconvenient. One of the major complaints I would say is Google Maps confuses destination and says "you have arrived" 1-2 minutes away, and it is not very clear especially in the dark where precisely it was. Overall this is a bargain. Amazing grounds, cheap price, beautiful rooms.

Deprimerande rum utan fönster eller läsbelysning. Vägguttag helt tokigt placerade: Inte möjligt att ladda mobil bredvid säng. Inte möjligt att använda hårfön framför spegel. Frukost var mycket knapphändig. Kan inte rekommendera detta hotell annat än för den trevliga personalen, den vackra trädgården och fina poolen.

Fantastiske rom og uteområde
Vi kom i mørket, og fikk ikke det beste inntrykket av hotellet. Vi ble utstyrt med en nøkkel til en hengelås og syntes det var rare greier. Når vi kom inn i hotellrommet, så dro vi med oss førsteinntrykket og syntes det var litt slitt, men store fine rom. Så våknet vi dagen etter, og fikk nesten hakeslepp av det vi så når vi åpnet døra. Alle leilighetene var så detaljrike av utskjæringer, farger, statuer, møbler , fugler i bur, katter og alt annet øyene kunne fange opp. Vi stortrivdes i 2 dager med besøk i monkey forest og atv kjøring, men innså at middag ikke skal spises på hotellet. Frokost var også så som så.

I got mixed up and did an incorrect review of this hotel. That glowing review was supposed to be for a different hotel, not this one. There is nothing good about this so called resort. Below is the correct review: better places to stay in Ubud. Poor and overpriced food. You are now their prisoner, so fully dependent on them. Hotel staff always tryin to sell something. Water bare drips from the bathroom sink faucet, though the rain shower works fine. Non functional bathroom: not a single hook or towel bar to hang towels. No door in the standing shower, and so water splashes out all over the bathroom floor making it slippery, wet and dangerous. Unhygienic: cheap coffee powder in the room provided in a small jar and after the guest leaves, it’s not replaced, but simply topped off. So the coffee powder that I scooped from my dirty spoon several times is what the next guest will have. TV wasn’t working because of dead remote batteries. Minutes after I got to my room, power went out. Got restored in 10-15 minutes. Poor power outlet locations. No power outlet where the water kettle is. Highly disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend this place

너무 저렴한 가격으로 다녀와서 그런지 가격대비 만족할 수 밖에 없었음. 장점: 정원이 오래되고 깔끔해 고전미가 있음. 단점: 번화가와 거리가 멈. 오토바이 필수 화장실 오래되서 더럽지는 않으나 그렇다고 깨끗하지도 않음 벽 등이 페인트가 벗겨져 있음 2만원대 대만족이나, 많은걸 바란다면 안됨. 가성비 만족임.

Beautiful place, near to downtown but far enough for a quiet night to sleep. Near by Tagalalnd Rice Fields and walking distance to monkey Forrest, Ubud center and Campuan Ridge Path. Five breakfast options, all of them truly delicious, fresh fruit, coffee and choices of Indonesian and western food.

직원들이 정말 친절하셨고 특히 총괄 매니저님이 정말 친절하십니다! 무엇보다 호텔스닷컴에서 아쉬웠던 것은 저는 분명 두개의 베드가 있는 트윈룸을 신청했는데 왜 퀸베드로 설정이 되었는지 모르겠습니다... 그래서 그때문에 첫날에 호텔의 문제인줄 알고 오해를 했다가 나중에는 아침에 총괄매니저님이 업그레이드를 해주셔서 덕분에 베드두개있는 방으로 받을 수 있었습니다! 그점에는 호텔 잘못은 아니었으니까요, 너무나도 친절하게 응대해주셔서 좋았습니다. 리조트 자체만으로 보면 조식이 포함이라서 후기가 없어 기대를 안했는데 .. 조식 기대해도 좋을만큼 맛있고 선택하는 종류들이 많아서 정말 좋았습니다! 오래 묵어도 조식 때문에 지루할 틈이 없는 느낌이었고, 수영장도 정말 깨끗하고 좋은 관리로 되어있었습니다. 특히나 피부 예민하신 분들도 사용하기 괜찮을 정도로 락스로 소독하지 않는 물관리가 쉽지 않을 텐데 그점도 좋드라구요 :) 여러모로 신경을 많이 쓴 굉장히 따뜻한 분위기의 리조트였습니다! 다음에도 발리 우붓에 오면 이용하고 싶습니다!

Nous avions pris la chambre standard qui n’a pas de fenêtre donnant sur l’extérieur donc pas top, les chambres deluxes sont bien mieux car avec balcons/terrasses. Le reste du service est très bien avec le sourire balinais. Petit dej varié et de qualité.

We enjoyed spending 3 days in this resort. The service, the team and the room were excellent and beyond our expectation. We had some difficulties with our room, but the team did whatever they could to help us a lot. The spa is still under construction, but the infinity pool is very nice specially in the morning. We strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a couple of days in Ubud for relaxing.

Don’t book the superior room if you wanna sleep
Very helpful staff, good location and amazing authentic Indonesian temple style resort. However we were pleased to go back home as the night situation was horrible.. The room where we stayed was amazing in term of decoration but there was no windows (only blinds with gaps that lets insect/noise/heat pass) and the next door neighbor had their dogs barking for three days in a row from 11pm to 4am. There is no spa yet in this resort as it is currently in building (right next to the pool so forget the relaxing atmosphere). After we explained the inconvenience at checkout nothing has been made to make us forget it, no commercial gesture at all. The manager even came later on saying he needed to talk to us and finally gave us a bill they forgot to count at the last minute. The spa recommended was below expectation with very poor customer service and hygiene, the airport transportation was way too expensive (3x the normal amount). Appart from that the hotel itself looked very nice.

Small hotel in a quiet area of Ubud. Beautiful gardens and pool, staff very friendly and happy to assist. Hotel is a long walk from Ubud centre but the hotel offer a shuttle service twice a day if you don’t fancy the walk. We walked everyday to take in our surroundings .

ウブドゥの繁華街からは徒歩10分くらいですが、落ち着いていて、とてもスチキなホテルです。空港でピックアップしてくれ、ホテルまで55万ルピアでした。 とにかくスタッフがフレンドリーで居心地抜群です。レストランは食事も美味しく、外の好きなロケーションのテーブルで食べられるし、部屋でも食べれます。夜22時くらいまでは食事可能でした。 ガーデンは手入れも行き届いていて素敵です。 ぷーるは小ぶりですが、キレイで泳ぐことも可能です。プール横に新しいプール？か何かをつくり中でした。 今回は息子と2人旅でしたが、息子もかなり気に入っていました。 朝食はコンチネンタル、アメリカン、インドネシアンなとから選べますが、ほぼナシゴレンを食べていました。美味しいです。 さほど歴史はないので、繁華街のタクシーに伝えても知らないことが多いです。ただホテル名を伝えると彼らが勝手に検索してくれるので問題ありません。だいたい繁華街きらは10万ルピアと言われます。歩けますが、夜は徒歩帰りは厳しいかもしれないのでタクシーがいいかと思います。 次にウブドゥを訪れる時があったら、必ずこの宿に泊まります。 ホテルにゴルフをやられる方もいたので、今度は一緒にラウンドしようと約束しました。 とにかく清潔でのんびりリラックスするには最高のホテルです。 かなりおススメです。

Personnel à l'écoute de vos attentes, très polis et serviables. Toujours souriant Petit bémol les salles de bain sont à rafraîchir, le carrelage est un peu vieillissant. Pendant notre séjour le SPA était en construction et notre chambre donnait juste devant, nous avons dû changer de chambre, même si les travaux ne faisaient pas trop de bruit c'etait un peu gênant quand même

I randomly chose this property and what an exceptional surprise it was. Staff were AMAZING and the room was exceptional value for money. I stayed in the older part of the resort, the pillows were the BEST. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone at the resort, which is currently under construction, (such a minimal issue as the new Spa is being built traditionally). Out of all places stayed in Bali, Uma Dawa was my favorite and I will go back. P.S. I have spent 30 yrs staying in good hotels world wide. Great value for money! The best breakfast ever!

Lovely, clean, safe and quiet. This property is a jewel, I absolutely loved our room, super comfortable and quiet, great for resting. The pool and overall facilities are well kept, it is a very welcoming environment, with nice artistic touches. In fact the have an art gallery on site with some amazing work. The owner greeted us and treated us good. I would absolutely return to this hotel.

快適なバンガロー
中心地から少し離れてますが、すぐの通りにレストランやお店がたくさんあるし、ぶらぶら歩けます。お部屋は広くてとても清潔感があり快適です。スタッフは皆感じがよく、外出時には必ず声をかけてくれて、送迎が必要かどうか聞いてくれます。ホスピタリティーは一流なのにとても安い。質の良い宿です。

Uma dawa was the perfect place for us on our trip to Ubud, Bali. The staff were amazing here– super friendly and helpful at all times. The room was very spacious, clean and modern. The resort itself was so beautiful and relaxing. It is built as if it’s in a temple along a rice terrace in the middle of the beautiful Ubud forest. We loved it here and definitely recommend! Also the breakfast was delicious and we had dinner here once and it was so good too!

With a child we were originally booked into an upstairs room and the staff without hesitation changed our room to downstairs. Staff were extremely helpful and played with our daughter which freed us up to enjoy our meals.
