"The Seville Historic Hotel has beautiful architecture, but unfortunately our stay was overshadowed by several issues. A strong burnt frying odor lingered throughout the property. While it wasn’t noticeable inside our room, it was very apparent the moment we stepped into the hallway.
Our room faced a busy street, and the traffic noise was so loud it felt like we were outside in it. The condition of the room also fell short—paint was peeling from the walls, the carpet was dirty, and the linens were worn with very thin towels.
The water pressure was low, and the water never got hotter than lukewarm. There were no proper curtains, only shades, which allowed the morning sun to flood the room since we were facing east.
The main lobby was not air-conditioned, making it uncomfortable to spend time there. Although our room did have air conditioning, it made a noticeable ticking noise every time the fan cycled on.
Overall, while the building itself is charming, the condition and comfort of the hotel did not meet expectations."
