Property was nice on a hill away from town. Staff was not too friendly. There were large parties in town. Room was comfortable and quiet, i felt safe. But did not eat on site. Lots of smokers crowded at front door. Large conference center.

Just have a look at our reservation history....! That says it all..... We always like the warm welcome we get upon checking in. So far there was always a room available even though - due to the early arrival of the Norröna - we're at the Foroyar quite early. We also enjoy the beautiful walks down to or up from the city center....it keeps us fit and we always enjoy the beautiful views. To sum it up: it always feels like coming home

Nice and quite hotel in the nature
Very nice and quiet hotel a little away from the city. a view to the city from all rooms. Nice 5 km walk in the hills behind the hotel. Remember to have the room temperature set to your needs before arrival as it take some days for adjusting due to floor heating.

Superfine værelser med FANTASTISK udsigt, meget nem indcheckning via app og ingen bøvl med nøglekort- det foregår via kode. 5 mins away from downtown, super easy to get to all the areas. Loved the heated floors! Only complaint is other guests were super loud above me but I get that’s not the hotels fault. Breakfast was yummy!

Nice hotel away from city
Hotel is good. With nice breakfast spread. However, it is away from the city. Ok if you have a car. The four-bed rooms have view of parking lot. So take care to insist on room with view towards the city.

Soveværelset i annexen så meget flot ud og var pænt indrettet, udsigten var ganske pæn og nogen gange kunne der går får op og ned af ens vindue hvor de kan græsse. Men deres vægge var ikke særlige gode lydisoleret, man kunne høre naboen snakke, grine, vandet fra deres bruser og lukken/åben af dører. Vi blev vækkede af folk der sang i bruseren ved siden af os tidlig om morgenen. Man hører også alle ude på gangen. Vi bestilte en queensize men da vi ankom var der to twin sat sammen, hvilket ikke er det som vi bestilte- det var kun det de havde over i annexen fortalte en af deres medarbejdere, så man endte med at ligge nede i et hul i løbet af natten. En måde man kan beskrive annexen på er at det er deres “vandrehjem” afdeling men stadig til omkring 2000kr pr overnatning. Hvilket efter vores oplevelse ikke lå op til den pris vi som vi har betalt pr nat. Der er en fin gang sti ned til torshávn fra hotellet, igennem lidt natur areal inden man kommer ned til byen hvor man kan se ud over havnen og havet, nyde udsigten. Fik at vide 175kr i alt når vi er 2 men det fik vi så at vide da vi betalte at der er for pr person så det blev 350kr pr gang. Der følger man sig meget snydt og berøvet pga information manglede. Så der var mangel på information, morgenmaden lå ikke op til den pris med oversteget bacon, kun halvdelen af juice automaterne virkede så man skulle stå i kø i et godt lille 2-3 min for at få et meget lille glas. Kaffemaskinen ville heller ikke virke meget af tide

Arrogant og mangelfuld service/behandling fra medarbejdere på hotellet. Dyr og dårlig mad i caféen, og alt for lang ventetid. Ingen sprit og hygiejne ved buffeten i morgenmadsrestauranten. Hotellet ligger langt væk fra centrum, men har fin udsigt over byen og vandet. Værelser er pæne og rene.

The view was not as expected. We had a superior room with sea view. However, construction machines took the view completely. So no sea view. Room OK, breakfast fine.

Hot chocolate not available No hot tube/steam room or sauna within spa. Only charged services such as massage No lift between ground floor & basement (where room was) On request of room services. Bodde i annexet och det var lite trångt att ha handfatet direkt i hallen. Saknade krockar, när man använder lager på lager kläder vid vandring och vid regn vill man kunna hänga upp kläderna. Bra frukost och fin utsikt över staden. Bra parkering.

The hotel has cozy, modern yet sleek rooms. The breakfast was included in our rate and it had lots of options to choose from. We ate in the casual lobby bar and it was delicious, they offer a more upscale restaurant with a set menu as well though we didn't try it. It is a hike from town to the hotel, it's doable in the daylight but it does take at least 20 minutes, maybe longer depending where you're coming from.

When I ordered the room online, I asked for the highest possible floor but I was not told that it is not located in the main building and it can not see the harbor at all! However, this room located in the annex building is very new with much better condition than the main hotel building.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Beautiful view of the city below and was very easy to walk down for dinner in the evening.

Hotel Føroyar is probably the best Hotel on the Foroyar Island. There are just two things I criticize: 1) There are unqualified personell in the (Ground-Floor-) Restaurant 2) There is a consturction area right in front of the guest rooms (we had an Executive Suite), which was in operation during weekdays from 06.30 until 22.00 in the evening. But overall, good Hotel (northern Europe Standard), clean, nice rooms, free parkinglots in front of building and close to City.

The hotel is very nice and has a privileged location overlooking the city and the harbour. There is absolutely no point to booking a room in the Annex. No view from any room and a walk across the parking lot to get to the main building. The room is comfortable, but not worth the price.

Das Hotel liegt etwas oberhalb der Stadt und der Wellnessbereich ist noch nicht ganz fertig. Das Zimmer war sauber und das Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut.

Skønt værelse - ikke så god morgenmad
Vi var meget tilfredse med vores værelse og Jeres service ! Morgenmad buffeten var også god , men det hele var koldt . Både æg og bacon og andre ting som også burde være varme. Derudover så var brøddet frossent i midten og der var jord på det persille der lå på røræggende. Det gjorde at oplevelsen var mindre god . Selve hoteller fejler i sig selv intet, men morgenmaden levede desværre ikke op til standarden.
