Close to the harbour and the bus stop. The street can be a bit noisy but the people staying at the guesthouse it is quiet and peacefull.

Good value

The guesthouse was a great value and was in a convenient location. My only issue was that there were many available rooms but was given a room adjacent to the street (on Friday and Saturday night) so it was loud ( lots of late night partying outside. Also, I was directly above the entrance door so was awakened by the door slamming.

Decent budget option

Extremely central, and check-in/check-out with the lockbox was easy. The room was fine, the bed was comfortable, but it got a bit warm in the room during the day and the window could only be opened a few centimeters. The common areas were kinda smelly/musty, eating breakfast there was not very appetizing. There was leftover moldy bread in the kitchen, and there were no bowls. Saturday night was noisy outside due to the nightclub down the street, but the rest of the week it was fairly quiet. We also had the boiler in our room which made a constant low humming noise, but that wasn't so bad. Overall, it was just ok for the cheap price considering the location, nothing terrible but also nothing great.

The room was OK, but the sinks and the showers were not working properly. Also the kitchen lacks basic things such as an oven to cook e.g a frozen pizza or some basic foods. Also the days in the weekdays were OK, but in the weekend the nightlife of the city keeps you up.

The property is clean, quiet, and in an excellent location. However, it does seem to be a bit of a work in progress. The furnishings are sparse and some of the bathroom hardware was broken. Also, the lack of outside signage can make it difficult to find, especially with the renovation work on nearby properties.

The position is central and everything is reachable walking, the problem is the very high noise during events outside (like the national day celebration in my case), or simply the weekend. No-shoes policy in place, but I won't remember this place for its shining floors...

Hello. This is a timberhouse in center. When coming in, it was much bad smell of rotten timber. Opening many windows " did not help, neither in the room . After one hour l went out. This house should not to be let out. No recomandaitions.

Séjour très agréable dans cet endroit atypique

Super bien placé en plein centre de Torshavn Le dialogue avec le gestionnaire pour l'arrivée ou pour toutes questions par la suite est simple et aboutie toujours a une solution La chambre et grande et lumineuse Les parties communes sont propres et bien gérées Le système de bannettes associées a chaque chambre est bien pensé pour le partage du frigo et des placards Grandes douches très agréables Par contre il est dommage que les lumières ne s'éteignent pas automatiquement dans les parties communes : certains hôtes laissent les lumières des douches ou des salons communs allumées toutes la nuit Pour un long séjour de 11 nuits, il serait bien de changer le linge (draps et serviettes) au moins une fois A part ça nous recommandons cet endroit pour votre séjour aux Iles Féroé !!

Il n’y a aucune réception, donc personne pour nous aider et répondre à nos questions. Nous avons demandé un service, à savoir déposer nos gros sacs pour ne pas les avoir sur le dos toute la journée en randonnée, ça nous a été refusé, ou alors il fallait faire un early check-in, ce dont nous n’avions pas besoin et payer 20€ par personne ! 300€ pour une nuit, dans un hostel ou il n’y a rien dans les chambres, pas même un petit thé ou café offert.

Un peu compliqué en mode business ce qui je le conçois n'est pas la majeure partie des clients. Même s'il s'agit d'une guest house : a) il est indiqué parking gratuit sans voiturier ce qui est vrai pour la gratuité mais cela laisse entendre qu'il y a un parking attenant à la guest house ce n'est pas le cas donc préciser parking gratuit à proximité b) la personne contacté au téléphone pour de l'aide répond à coté ou raccroche ! (cela est arrivé à 3 résidents) donc trés peu de soutien c) nous recevons plein de mails de l'hotel avec nos obligations : des pré enregistrements et paiements à faire mais du côté de l'hotel aucun soutien téléphonique ! c) il serait préférable de préciser dés le début que salle de bains et toilettes sont en commun : ce n'est pas le cas de toutes les guests house et il faut bien regarder toutes les photos jusqu'a la dernière pour le comprendre. Globalement c'est propre (chambres) mais il n'y a qu'une poubelle par étage , aucune dans les chambres ni dans les salles de bains...
