Property was in a very convenient location to downtown and was as advertised. The checkin process was not smooth and owners were not very responsive, only willing to send non-links through Expedia. The would not call or text. At checkout, we were charged for damages and broken glasses which were not used, and were not reasonable to tell us where things were found.
Main room accommodates 2 adults (it’s a king bed). 2nd room has a bed that is good for one kid.
It was not great to realize the rooms are good for 2 adults and one kid when we had 2 kids.
I’d say almost everything else was fine. The deposit to be made via PayPal that comes via a Gmail made it feel extremely sketchy. But date to say I got my deposit back a the place worked out great in terms of location. The walk from underground parking to unit is not too bad in terms of distance but the lock/key for entering garage means you’ll need a hand free
I just wish this was clearly marked as a unit that’s good for 3 adults or 2 adults and a kid.
Extremely disappointing experience. The unit was advertised as a luxury stay, but what we encountered was far from it. The apartment was dirty on arrival—sticky floors, a strong food odor, and damaged doors throughout. The outdoor area was unusable due to a raccoon living on the balcony, and the entrance was swarming with mosquitoes, which made it especially difficult as I was traveling with small children. The listing claimed to be non-smoking, but the smell of smoke was overwhelming both inside and outside the unit.
We were also uncomfortable throughout the night with itching, raising concerns about possible bed bugs. Despite reaching out with these issues during the stay, we received no response or support. To make matters worse, they later charged me for a “late check-out” that didn’t occur and a “cleaning call” I never made.
Completely unprofessional and dishonest. I would not recommend booking with Global Stay.
