Attractive place with notable deficiencies

This is an attractive apartment just 5 min. walk from the center of town; it is modern, clean, and as attractive as the picture. However, it really should be a VRBO listing, not a hotel. No owner on premises, and you have to call ahead to Spain before arrival to arrange someone to meet you to give you keys. No email to confirm with, quite stressful as, sure enough, the person who answered spoke no English. Had to call again. On arrival, we were met by someone who spoke almost no English to orient us. To make matters worse, he tried to suggest we had to pay in CASH, when we had left a credit card to reserve. We said NO! And he quickly got the credit card machine. Bad first impression. And while the apt. was clean and attractive, the comfort left much to be desired (lousy pillows, uncomfortable sleep sofa (futon). Reasonably priced certainly but I would not stay again.

Excellent apartment in the old city of Toledo

This is a fantastic apartment in the old city. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. Eva gave us some excellent suggestions for places to eat and things to do and see. Parking was also available nearby. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer.
