Hotel Metropolitan Tokyo Ikebukuro

"The property is in such a great location to where we were very close to an entrance to the jr line. The property is clean and friendly. The breakfast was pretty good. I like on the television it tells you how busy the breakfast buffet is and also tells you the status of the washer/dryer. It shows which machine is occupied and how many minutes are left on each load. The location is quiet at night and not far from the hotel is a bunch of locations to eat and things to do. There is a 7/11, Lawson, and Family Mart within a block radius of the hotel. I would definitely come stay here again. This hotel is also a stop for the airport limousine bus service from Narita and Haneda Airports."

"Enjoyed the cleanliness of the property, size of rooms, water pressure of shower, lounge area in the evening, coffee and buffet breakfast. The dining room hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were lucky enough to get tables for breakfast outside all together for our party of 6. Thank you!"

"Very easy stay. Our plane landed at midnight, so we just needed somewhere to sleep at the airport before taking a train to Kyoto the following morning. Despite it being 2am at check-in. There were multiple check-in screens (over 6 of them) but with a couple of staff to help, this helped the queue move quickly. I'd prebooked so the check-in was very easy. All done in 5 mins. Room was very clean, and they'd made it up for 4 of us In advance. No complaints at all, but we were there less than 7 hours."

"Amazing staff. From the initial greeting the staff were wonderful. I could feel the stress leaving my body as I was guided through the entrance and through the check in process. The bath was also great for unwinding. Lots of nearby restaurants for dinner. Recommend the buffet for an easy start to the next day. Food was excellent. Thank you to all the staff for the wonderful stay."

"The hotel is in such a nice location with plenty of shops and restaurants located on the bottom level. The staff was very friendly. Everyday we came back to a clean room with fresh towels and water. The extra amenities such as razors and face masks in the lobby for guests was a nice surprise. The hotel is located about a 15 minute walk from the main Shinjuku area and the hotel was easy to navigate when calling taxis and Ubers,"

"Loved the location of the hotel. Very close to the subway and a shopping mall. There's a grocery store at the bottom of the hotel which we frequented quite often. The rooms are on the small size, but it seems that's fairly common with Japanese hotels. The laundromat is only 10 minute walk from the hotel. There is a 7-11 near the hotel where you can buy prepared food and lots of snacks."
