We chose a view of the bay rather than the court yard. The street can be noisy. And the rooms are over the bar so early am patrons exiting carry the party into the street. Ear plugs are offered at check in.

Nice spot. Hotel is average, rooms are ok however not a place I’d stay again, it’s very basic with noisy rooms. Staff were incredible. Location in town is great. I’d stay in one of the upscale resorts just outside of the town next time. Adriana’s across the street is a must! Excellent pizza!

The outside of the hotel is nothing like the inside. What they did with this over 70 year old hotel is amazing!!! Only thing is there is no elevator but staff are happy to help with carrying luggage to the 2nd floor. Would definitely say at the Maq again.

Amazing location and amazing opportunity to make a destination accommodation, but something isn't right. Some of the people in the surrounding area make me nervous. There appears to be many unhoused in the vicinity. Universal problem, but still a reality. Making the rooms more comfortable and attractive would go a long way. Having chairs in the room would help.
