El hotel cubre las necesidades mínimas. La limpieza se debe mejorar y el camino de acceso es muy malo. La ubicación es buena, en una de las mejores playas de la isla y para ver la puesta de sol y el cine de verano a 10 minutos del hotel.

Es ist wirklich eine Zweckunterkunft. Man nutzt es nur zum schlafen und duschen. Es liegt genau zwischen Long Beach und Coral Bay, was wirklich ein ultra Pluspunkt ist. Ist auch der einzige Grund, weshalb ich dieses Hotel nochmal buchen würde. Die Anreise mit dem Speedboat von Kuala Besut empfiehlt sich über Coral Bay (ca. 7 Min Fußweg zur Unterkunft).

Très bien pour les îles Perhentian

Il faut savoir que les logements sur les îles sont très cher et peu qualitatif!! J’ai cherché un moment avant de réserver ici. J’avais peur d’être déçu et j’ai été agréablement surprise! J’avais une chambre sans clim mais il y a un gros ventilateur au plafond. Ça rafraîchit très bien de jour comme de nuit . Il y a de l’eau chaude, le lit est bien et une moustiquaire à la fenêtre. L’emplacement est top, entre coral bay et long beach, et c’est calme ! Je ne capte pas la wifi de la chambre mais c’est pas dérangeant car ici on est tout le temps dehors. Personnel agréable , ils proposent des excursions

We arrived and they gave us free cold water to welcome us. Everything was clean, each room has a desk and is comfortable. We stayed the first nights in a room with AC and fan and the last night in a room with just fan. Both were clean and nice and because of the weather (it rained during a couple of nights) we didn’t even have to use the AC. From Tropicana Inn it is possible to reach Long Beach in 5 mins and coral bay in 5 mins, which is perfect to visit around. We liked it!

De locatie van dit verblijf is ideaal. Vlakbij Long Beach en toch weg van het geluid van het strand. We hadden een kamer met fan. Daar moesten we even aan wennen, maar was uiteindelijk prima. We hebben het nooit te warm gehad. Het bed en de douche zijn eenvoudig, maar prima. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en als we vroegen om nieuw toiletpapier of een nieuwe handdoek, kregen we dat direct. Ik raad dit verblijf vooral om de perfecte locatie en de vriendelijkheid van het personeel erg aan!

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Fan (und Fliegengitter) das war von der Temperatur völlig in Ordnung, aber durch die Luftfeuchtigkeit durch Dusche, feuchte Badesachen und die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit im Regenwald war es unglaublich muffelig und hat gestunken, sehr unangenehm. Ich nehme an, dass es mit Klimaanlage besser ist. Sogar die Bücher haben sich gewellt. WLAN geht nur in der Lobby, was kein Problem wäre, wenn es dort nicht ein Moskito Problem geben würde.

This a good basic hotel. It offers clean comfortable rooms. The reception guy is awesome and helpful. There is no pool or food service on the premises. There are some items for sale in the lobby which are snacks and toiletries and most importantly mosquito spray! The hotel is at an easy distance (disregarding the condition of the pathway) from Long Beach and Coral Beach which there are many restaurants and activities available. The grounds are well maintained as well as the rooms. Cons: Mosquitoes and limited to little to no hot water. Out of 5 days, I had hot water for 3.5 days. The receptionist booked transportation (tractor with trailer) for a pickup and transfer to the pier. This is a big plus if you have a lot of luggage.

On a jamais eu de réponse à nos messages. Arrives sur place on a expliqué qu’on repartait plus tôt à cause de l’avion, et donc demander si ils peuvent faire quelque chose car j’ai prévenu y’a longtemps mais comme ils ne répondaient pas aux mails j’ai dû attendre d’être sur place et sans aucuns efforts on a eu un non ou débrouillez vous avec hotel.com et hôtel.com les a contacte et a eu un refus donc hôtel.com ne font rien de plus pour nous. La wifi ne fonctionnait pas dans les chambres, uniquement à l’accueil. Et pour se rendre à l’hôtel, bon courage on était seul avec nos valises à énormément marché sans indication sur la plage sous forte chaleur.

Super bien placé entre les 2 plages long beach (3 min)et coral beach (5min), possibilité de randonnée à pied jusqu'à Dlagoon (1h) voyage à 4 avec 2 ados super séjour mais il faut reconnaitre que le rapport qualité/prix est décevant Malheureusement aucun rangement pour les vêtements qui ont du resté dans les valises (donc impossible de circuler dans la chambre trop petite)ni espace pour faire sécher les maillots de bains/serviettes car aucun accès à l'extérieur depuis la chambre (moustiquaire sur les fenêtres) et salle de bain très petite donc odeur de moisi dans la chambre aucun ménage fait ni changement de serviette pendant 6 nuits, les serviettes sentent le moisi et les draps sont tachés mais propres les chambres pour 4 sont microscopiques, ingérables avec des ados la dernière nuit nous avions une chambre pour 6 plus spacieuse à 4 avec une salle de bain rénovée

NADA RECOMENDABLE!!

Durante nuestra estancia sufrimos un robo dentro de la habitación. Al regresar descubrimos que nuestras pertenencias habían sido revisadas con todo detalle y únicamente desapareció el dinero en efectivo. La puerta estaba cerrada y no mostraba signos de haber sido forzada, lo que genera una gran preocupación sobre la seguridad en el establecimiento. La reacción del hotel ante el incidente fue limitada y no sentimos que hubiera una ayuda real para resolver la situación. Finalmente tuvimos que acudir a la policía y presentar una denuncia formal. Por nuestra experiencia personal, no recomendaríamos este alojamiento a quienes valoren la seguridad de sus pertenencias. Tampoco limpian la habitación ningún día durante la estancia . El wifi solo funciona si estás en una zona común llena de mosquitos. A las habitaciones no llega nada. Si quieres quedarte en Islas Perhentian, te recomiendo elegir cualquier otro alojamiento. Ojalá nosotros lo hubiéramos hecho. Quedas avisado 😉 Así que recomiendo alojarse en cualquier otro sitio que no sea este . NADA RECOMENDABLE

Être en bonne condition physique

L'hôtel est situé dans la forêt tropicale au hauteur d'une sacrée côte très difficile à monter avec des bagages. Il existe des services de porteurs de valises mais l'hôtel ne nous en avait pas informés avant d'arriver pourtant nous avions envoyé un mail deux jours avant notre arrivée pour poser la question. Nous avons donc vraiment souffert à monter la côte avec nos bagages. La chambre était en hauteur aussi dans l'hôtel donc vraiment veiller à être en bonne forme physique. Pas de balai pour nettoyer la chambre dont le sol était rempli de sable. Pas de ménage fait en 4 jours c'est dommage surtout pour les serviettes de bain. Sinon le personnel est gentil et serviable. Dans la nuit, des noix de coco tombent violemment sur le toit. Ça peut surprendre et réveiller. Sinon c'était pas mal pour le prix.

In the middle between Coral Bay and Long beach

The staff are SUPER friendly and really helpful! I needed help to print a few things, it was no problem. They are really good at giving information and advices. If the room if available, when you arrive, you can get early check-in. Really nice! They have luggage storage, and you can get a shower even if you are waiting for a room/have checked out. We didn't got our room cleaned during our 5N stay. That is a long time with no cleaning, no emptying the trash, lot of sand, new towels (our room had no AC, so we needed extra showers). We didn't had any toiletpaper at the room, but we think it was the host who forgot. We just asked at the reception, and got some. Can recommend this place. Note: During the weekends the island have a lot of guests. So if you want to come during a weekend, you need to book your stay (nomatter where) in advance. We booked our stay 3-4 weeks before, and couldn't get a room with AC because some of the days were during a weekend. Can recommend you take the ferry to Coral Bay if you stay here.

El alojamiento está bastante bien. No hay que fijarse mucho de las malísimas reviews, son de gente amargada que espera un hotel 4 estrellas. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y con comodidades. El aire acondicionado fue muy bueno. La localización, aunque ligeramente en una colina, es muy buena, con long beach y coral bay super cerca. Recomendamos coger el ferry a coral bay, que aunque la playa está un pelín más lejos, el ferry está mejor comunicado. Cómo punto negativo hay mucha humedad y la ventilación no es buena, deberían ofrecer servicio de limpieza de habitaciones y cambio de toallas cada dos días o así.

I feel this place has had some unfair and harsh reviews in the past. I can of course only base my review on our experience with the room we booked, a triple room with AC. Yes it is a bit of a walk from the long beach jetty and there is a bit of a broken up path with a small incline to the reception but from coral beach the hill is steep. We were greeted at reception by a friendly host and a bottle of water. We found our room to be clean and as the pictures stated, we had a fan and air conditioning and the room was quickly cooled after a hot walk. Our room was unfortunately at the top of another hill but can't be helped given the landscape of the property. The bathroom was acceptable the shower could have been slightly better as it didn't have much pressure but was enough to wash. There was no wifi in the room and the mobile reception is minor and patchy at best but this IS a remote island paradise. If you need entertainment in your room you'd be best to download a series or two but generally browsing internet and social media just about worked on mobile data. The property is a short and fairly easy walk from long beach and its restaurants, shops & bars about 5 mins. It's also a 5-10 minute walk from coral beach which is great for watching sunset but the steep hill is short but sweaty. I think the price of this room is more on the expensive side for basic accommodation but the AC is worth the upgrade as the jungle island is hot & humid. All in all we were happy with the stay

Je déconseille fortement

Je déconseille fortement cet hôtel. Il est situé tout au bout de l’île, difficile d’accès par une route étroite, non éclairée, délabrée, mal indiquée et absolument pas sécurisée. Aucun aménagement pour les personnes handicapées ou âgées. L’accueil à la réception est froide et peu professionnel, voire inexistant. Les chambres sont sales, vétustes, mal entretenues et il n’y a aucun service de chambre. Franchement, une très mauvaise expérience du début à la fin.

Basic amenities. Rooms with too little space. Decent, could be cheaper.
