"We loved this small hotel with its peaceful outdoor garden and roof top in the Monti district. Within walking distance to the Colosseum and Roman Forum and other sights. Very clean, helpful staff and a large comfortable room (we had a deluxe suite). The hotel isn't cheap but we felt it was worth the price."

"This was our second day. Hotel is off the beaten track and could be difficult to find if you didn’t know what you were looking for. Office visits we had had car service from the airport and they dropped us off right in front, however, the hotel is just around the corner from a metro station. There is plenty of restaurants and shopping in the area. Rooms are quiet and of a decent size, but not huge. "We really enjoyed our stay at Britannia Hotel. It’s a beautiful building with a lot of character built in 1800s. Rooms are a bit small but still functioning for two adults.
