"Lovely room on the lake with an outside table which was perfect place to sit and watch the world go by.
The bathroom is now quite dated, but spacious and functioned well.
Very comfortable bed.
Staff were not very welcoming at reception. We arrived at 1.30 and told room would not be ready until 3. They did not check to see if it was ready or offer to keep our luggage, but suggested we go to the bar and have a drink and wait.
When we arrived back 3 hours later with all our luggage to check in we were told we had to go back into the car park and walk to the end of the building and enter by another door. There was an internal corridor that would have been much easier to roll our luggage on but that was not suggested to us.
Dinner in the restaurant was pleasant. I requested a second glass of wine which did not appear so I asked another staff member to check where it was. Both of them added the glass of wine to the bill, so that had to be resolved when the bill was presented for signing.
Great location, service and presentation could both be improved."
