Wir hatten zwei Nächte gebucht. Am Samstag gab es im Restaurant Essen. Das Restaurant ist nur Freitag und Samstag geöffnet. Am Sonntag war das Hotel geschlossen, es gab keine Getränke oder Essen. Wir standen am Morgen in einem leeren Frühstücksraum. Es war nichts gedeckt. Das Frühstück am Montag wurde in einem Schwesterhotel ca. 1,5 km entfernt serviert. Eine Auskunft, dass das Frühstück wo anders ist, wurde vom Personal nicht gegeben. Erst als um 08.00 Uhr die Rezeption besetzt war, bekamen wir die Auskunft.

Andra besöket och det var inte lika professionellt och välkomnande när vi checkade in. Tråkig slamrig hantering vid frukosten där en diskvagn kördes runt utan hänsyn till äldre gäster som hade svårt att gå. Underbar utsikt, god mat på kvällen men frukosten håller tyvärr inte samma klass.

Dålig standard för dyrt rum

Det var undermåligt för mig som önskat ett tillgängligt rum. Fanns halvdant hjälpmedel vid toalettstolen och en minimal dusch med pall utan säkra tassar. Utan gångfunktion hade en vistelse på hotellet varit omöjlig. Jag kommer aldrig att välja detta kostsamma boende igen. Inte valuta för pengarna.

Väldigt mysigt ställe med underbar personal och riktigt fint läge. Väldigt varmt rum när vi var där dock (väldigt varma julidagar) och väldigt krånglig väg upp med brant backe. Vi hade rum på andra våningen i Ängsbacken-huset.

Avskilt läge med fantastisk utsikt över Siljan. Finns liten takterrass också där man ser ännu mer. Rummet trevligt men lite slitet. Bra service i restaurangen men köket har lite att jobba på när det gäller hanteringen av kött.

Vi blev uppgraderade till en stor svit som var fantastiskt trevligt inrett med bl a 2 bubbelbadkar och soffgrupp. Servicen var utmärkt lisom den middag vi åt. Man dukade dessutom upp frukost på måndagsmorgonen vilket man informerat tidigare om att det inte skulle bli så trots att vi två var de end gästerna.
