We booked a 2-night stay in JAN2026. The room itself was pretty spacious and there was a bidet (rare in Taiwan) in the washroom, everything else was subpar. Out of all the places that we stayed at in Taiwan, this was definitely the worst. The staff were not mean, but we felt that they were not accommodating at all. The shower water pressure was barely there and the hot water took so long to heat up. We would not recommend staying here when you visit Tainan.

The room size is okay. Since it’s a hotel, it equipped with coffee section, closet without door. Budget hotel normally doesn’t carry these space. To cut the cost, they just provided bath towel and hand towel. Overall is good. However, there’s stinky smell in the bathroom. Seems there’s a leaking from the above unit.

The best hotel during our Tainan and Kaoshiung trips. The room rate is so good value while the property is well maintained though a bit old. The best thing is the staff members provided good customer services to international visitors like us by showing smiling greeting when we arrived and provided some suggestions for our dining options in the area.

First time to Tainan and had a great stay at Dynasty Hotel. Easy to locate within few minutes walk from train station. Many eateries nearby. Room was comfy, shower has constant temperature.

The hair dryer only works when you hold the button, and it only works 1 minute at a time. After that, you have to wait 5 minutes for cooldown. Staff is very helpful for calling taxi.

The Pros: Comfortable air conditioning. Will let you store your luggage in the lobby after checking out. The cold/hot water is on the first floor. The Cons: There was an odor like someone smoked in our room when we walked in first. After awhile you get used to it. WiFi was a little slow. But fast enough to check emails.

The room was spacious and well-cleaned, with a bidet toilet seat. This is a very cost-effective hotel. However, the door is thin and you can hear voices from the room or hallway very clearly. It may be difficult for nervous people or people who have trouble sleeping to make a good impression.
