"Our stay at St. Maryā€™s Lodge became something we will never forgetā€”not because of the beautiful surroundings, but because of the incredible kindness and compassion shown by the staff. During our stay, I experienced a medical emergency in the middle of the night and had to be transported by ambulance to an emergency hospital about 45 minutes away. My wife went with me, and with no transportation available in the area, the hotel manager, Erin, personally came to pick us up and bring us back to the lodge. When we were preparing to check out, my condition suddenly worsened. I developed severe chills and was shaking violently, requiring another trip to the emergency room. After further evaluation, I had to be transferred to another hospital nearly two hours away for additional testing. Without hesitation, Erin volunteered to drive my truck to the second hospital because my wife was not comfortable driving it. Even more amazingly, despite it being late at night, she stayed with us at the hospital to make sure we were okay before returning to the lodge early the next morning. We are deeply grateful to Erin and the entire St. Maryā€™s Lodge team for going far beyond what anyone could expect. Their compassion, generosity, and genuine care during one of the most difficult experiences weā€™ve ever faced meant the world to us. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of us. We will never forget your kindness."
