The room was not very clean, chairs were soiled and bedding was old and sheets were thin. Travelling with a small dog and was charged $39.00 as a pet fee! 😲 Most hotels only charge $20 or $25! The rooms need to be updated. Definitely will not stay there again!

They took the 100$ deposit. They said they will take $20 from deposit coz there is a missing towel. And they didn’t even return anything from deposit. Very rude old guy at reception

This motel was exceptionally clean. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I asked for an off-street room because the motel faces the Trans Canada Highway, which is extremely busy and noisy. Our room was quiet so we all slept well. It can be challenging finding accomodation that allows pets so I was thrilled that The Rainbow Motel does. Our dog also slept well and enjoyed exploring during our walks. The motel is situated amongst innumerable shopping and dining locales, with easy access to the Trans Canada. It is very easy to get downtown and to other areas of Swift Current. If you like ice-cream and soft serve, visit the family-owned Dairy King across the street. It has a vast menu and everything is delicious. There is a Shoppers Drug Mart and Original Joe's around the corner, Smitty's across the street, and the Wheatland Mall kitty corner. The golf course and the off-leash dog park are also close by. The hospital, if you need it, is only a few blocks away. My only complaint was the very thin pillows, which were so thin it was like not having a pillow. However, I asked for extra pillows and was provided them without issue. I will absolutely stay here again if I pass through another time, and similarly recommend this motel to other travellers.

It was ok, i just needed a bed. Disappointed that there wasnt a hairdryer or coffeemaker in room. I guess i forgot to read uf there was. So $65. 00 in my opinion was too much for the bare minimum

Got a good clean room, coffee maker would have been nice. Fast food and convenience store 5 min walk from hotel. Highway next to hotel and room was quiet

It was the only place in town that wasn’t booked during the CCA weekend. I was hesitant at first, but it turned out to be a nice place to stay. Room was cleaned every day and freshened up for my week stay. Price was good also!

Stay overnight
We stayed overnight on our way to Vancouver. It was convenient because there was a microwave, a refrigerator, and a big TV. Disposable shampoo and soap are served, but, no dryer. The most satisfied thing was that it was very clean.

Very dirty, room felt like nobody stayed for months and wasn’t cleaned for months too. Everything feels dirty and dusty. Bed cover / comforter is dirty, old, and lots of cigarette holes in a non smoking room. My husband was attacked by a dog prior to coming into the room, reported it to the front desk/owner and i was told that it’s the dog’s problem. That’s how he addressed the issue. We did not stayed in our room and they did not even offer a refund.

You have also a dog,as I told you another guests could bring pets.And we clean the room perfectly every day. The guest who stayed next day at the same room left a massage that the room was perfectly clean and nice. I'm sorry but your reservation was nonrefundable. Thank you.

I liked that it was right by Tim Hortons and other restaurants. I wish they would have fully restocked my room each day. It was fully stocked on the first day, the second day they only replaced a few things so we didn't have enough towels or facecloths. It was good otherwise.

Tidy room. Service was great. Room and plumbing outdated. Could use bathroom hooks!!! But for the price can’t complain too much. Oh and the water seems extremely hard. FYI I can sell them a water softener system.

Pleasantly surprised by the room, looks to have been updated since the Expedia pictures were taken. Nice, minimalist room, great for an overnight stay while traveling through!

Had to stay in Swift creek on cross country trip with a dog. Very few options in this area. I would not recommend, it was an old property, didn't see dirt but it felt dirty due to carpets condition. The gentleman at front desk was helpful and friendly however.

Decent accommodations for a one night stop over
This was a decent spot to spend the night on a cross country road trip. Older facility without the upgrades you might be looking for in a vacation spot, but the room was clean, pet friendly and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Nothing fancy, but nothing objectionable either.

We stayed 1 night on our way through Swift Current. It is an older road side hotel. There are a few creaks & groans in the building, and it's not far from HWY 1, so a bit noisy. The room was clean and the owner (???) was very nice. A good place to close your eyes for the night, and lots of restaurants close.

Rainbow motel
Needed a cheap, last minute place to stay after my car broke down during a road trip. This place fit the bill. Nothing special but did the job.
