The owners/managers went above and beyond to help me with both my late arrival and my trip onward. My phone was having a charging issue and the detailed map that was drawn for me was perfect - it got me right to some wonderful sightseeing in Cape Agulhas and ultimately to Betty’s Bay. I certainly would have missed some beautiful areas had I not had their help!
we didn’t realize when booking that they basically require you to check in by 1830. We got there by 2000 and had called...but they made us feel less than welcome and that we had interfered with their dinner plans. We were told we were lucky they stayed and we didn’t have to sleep out on the street.
Once in the room, there was no window to open for fresh air - it was sealed shut and no screen anyway. Couldn’t leave door open because of mosquitoes.
Towels and very old, stained from bleach, and need replacing. Toilet seat and cover worn out and needs replacing.
Internet mostly doesn’t work in room.
Also told that breakfast is only 0800-0900. This was okay, but a surprise. We would have done earlier. It was okay but not much more than just average. Coffee is only filtered coffee.
This could be a nice place, but it needs investment.
The owners have a mission statement 5 of service principles and the statement describes how the owners exist for the customers but this is not the service provided ; if they were taken to heart this would be much better.

Urlaub in Südafrika
Die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr idyllisches Plätzchen. Die Zimmer sowie Außenanlage sind schon in die Jahre gekommen. Es müsste mal einiges ausgebessert werden.
This is our third time visiting Langeberg Guest House in the last year.
Micheal and Beate together with Ashton the dog are always welcoming, they can not do enough for you, breakfast is delicious. Would not hesitate to stay again and to recommend.
