"Great hotel and friendly staff, but location is a drawback Staz Hotel Premier Dongtan is a great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The lobby-level convenience shop is a big plus and very handy during the stay. The rooms and overall facilities were comfortable and well maintained. The main downside is the location. It’s quite far from Seoul city, and while the accommodation is reasonably priced, the savings are quickly offset by Uber/taxi costs. Tours also don’t offer pick-up from the hotel or the Dongtan area, which makes sightseeing less convenient. Breakfast was okay, but there’s room for improvement—more fruit options and better-quality coffee would make a big difference. Overall, a good hotel if you need to stay in the Dongtan area, but not ideal if you plan to spend a lot of time in Seoul or rely on tours."

"Pros: 1. The rooms are big, comparatively much bigger than other places. 2. The restaurant is excellent. We ate dinner and enjoyed the buffet breakfast. Both were great quality. 3. The grounds are lovely and great for a stroll on a sunny day. Cons: 1. The rooms are very dated and shabby. 2. There are no extra creature comforts in the rooms. We are a family of four and there were 2 double beds and four pillows total in the room. When we asked for some additional pillows we were told that they do not provide any additional bedding. There was a kettle in the room, but no tea bags, coffee sachets etc. There were only 2 full sized towels in the room for 4 people. 3. There is an additional fee to use the hotel pool (20,000) which isn’t advertised on this platform. I wish I had known about this before booking. You are also required to wear a swim cap in the pool, which are an additional 6,000 to purchase if you don’t have one on hand. All in all an ok stay, I think the pros outweighed the cons for us, largely to do with the price which was quite affordable. "

"This hotel operates without front desk staff for check-in. Instead, you enter the main sliding door using a code sent to you with your reservation. To access your room, you’ll need to scan a QR code generated after completing the check-in process at the kiosk located in the lobby near the entrance. The whole experience was new to me, but it worked out smoothly in the end. The room was very clean, quiet, and had a nice, well-maintained bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. The surrounding area has other hotels, stores and restaurants, and it’s easy to catch a bus nearby. The room also included a mini fridge with a few bottles of water, as well as a table and chair for personal belongings. The basement area has tables and chairs where you can sit and eat, as eating is not allowed inside the rooms. The price was very reasonable, and overall, the stay was well worth it. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Suwon."

"Good cosy hotel. Room is of a decent size, bed was huge and the toilet has a separate area for shower and the toilet bowl. My only negative feedback is the toilet bowl is of a smaller size as compared to other hotels. "
