"It’s up the Grimsel pass about 6 kilometres from Innertkirchen, had a decent spaghetti bolognaise, there’s millions of flies sharing it if you sit outside , it’s not the hotel at fault it’s just Switzerland. Room had a sink in it , nothing else , one shower room and toilet , 13 rooms on the floor we were on , I cannot say how many of these 13 rooms had en suites , if they do not then one shower and one toilet is not enough, £140 for the room is pushing it"

"Great view with snowcapped mountain plus great service and breakfast. It is in the middle station from Grindelwald to First where you can go trekking. We love the flower trails. Just you have to add on your budget for the cable from Grindelwald to First round trip of CHF 57 for 2 adults with Swiss Pass(children aged below 16 free if travel with parent). This saves time if time is limited for you. Option is to walk from Grindelwald to hotel and from hotel to First but it takes time."

"Great location, scenic view from the balcony, short walking distance to mount titlis rides and Engelburg train station. Not so great breakfast. Lady at reception was very helpful to accommodate our needs. Gent at the reception needs to work on his listening skills as he cut me while speaking when I tried explaining that we already parked and already had a parking tag and when we asked for a kettle, he generalized us and self assumed that we may use that to cook food, which we were not planning...

"Great location, great breakfast, great people, great everything :-) Stay away from Trauffer restaurant next to the hotel, it's expensive and overpriced( 8CHF for one liter of tap water... come on). The hotel restaurant is better for the price."

"Omdat er geen airco aanwezig is moesten snachts de ramen open om de slaapkamer enigszins te koelen. Omdat er geen horren voor de ramen zaten, vlogen er binnen de kortste keren 20 vliegen binnen die ons de halve nacht wakker hebben gehouden. Ook op het terras van het hotel waren erg veel vliegen die op ons en het eten zaten."

"Grundsätzlich sehr einfaches Hotel bzgl. Einrichtung und Komfort. Okay für eine Nacht auf der Durchfahrt, aber mehr nicht. Hätte es nicht die strategische Lage vor dem Gotthard-Tunnel und den üblichen Schweiz-Preisaufschlag würde es wohl anderswo eher die Hälfte kosten. Das Frühstück war gut und erfreulicherweise hört man die Autobahn bei geschlossenen Fenstern nicht. Der Ort um das Hotel ist absolut tot."

"Absolutely loved this hotel, check in was super easy as is all automatic and we arrived late. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help throughout our stay. Breakfast was amazing with a huge choice and beautifully laid out. Everywhere was clean and there were lots of little touches to make the stay the best, a free tea and coffee station, fridge for guest use, books, picnic blankets, dog bowls and children's games all for borrowing, plus you could borrow an adaptor for your whole...

"Lovely hotel. We were on the top floor and there's no lift, but there was a lovely house keeper who carried my massive suitcase up and back down the stairs for me. I sprained my ankle whilst staying there and he even offered to take my suitcase to the train station with me! Wish I'd got his name. Room was lush, breakfast was fairly basic, but hit the spot."
