As we advised you, our villas are rated independently at 4 to 4.5 stars and the resort and location, as you have referred to 5 star by independent assessors. We disagree that the villa is shabby or unclean but it was a one level villa without a flight of internal stair and in a quiet part of the resort with a courtyard. We understand that you disliked the location and that the villa was not 2 level as your friend had. We actually have other guests who won't stay in any other villa and as you can see every guest has different preferences and we erred placing you on a one level as we saw you had a young child. We appreciate reading your comments about the pool and location of the resort, thank you for these.We will take our right to reply, particularly as you mentioned a poor review when we advised additional services, such as towels were fee for service. You would have seen a variation in the rate between the standard villas and the deluxe when booking and you booked the standard. Mind you, when you booked you advised one not two children so you may have been in a hurry to book. The resort is branded at 3.5 star rated resort and independent assessments grade us at 4 star. Our villas are self-contained with full laundries and kitchens etc and we supply a starter kit in keeping with our star assessment. The norm in self-contained accommodation across Queensland and not just Noosa and at our rating is for additional towels / amenities to be fee for service. This helps keep costs down and make our tariffs affordable for families to take holidays and budget accordingly. As we advised, we supply the one towel /guest unless you stay greater than 7 nights and then there is a mid-service. The fee as you were advised is 5 a towel to cover the additional laundering not to make any profits from guests. Reviewing the camera footage, no staff member advised you it was your 'fault' but we did advise that we are transparent about what we offer, and it is all in our confirmation emails so guests have no unexpected surprises or unrealistic expectations.
