"Liked: Friendly host, very clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed, good kitchen and coffee facilities in the common room, great view of the lake. Tasty breakfast. Not great: some traffic noise while sitting outside looking at the lake (can’t hear it in the room) I would book again."

"The front of the property was dated but inviting. Our room was to the rear of the property and door to our room was unkempt and uninviting. The room itself was as pictured, however the tan and yellow colours were created from age old furnishings, rugs and drapery. The fragrance in the room was that of an age old smoking room. On the positive the sheets and pillowcases were clean, as was the room. Staff offered a different room which we looked at however we decided not to stay"
