Excellent guest house, clean & great value for money. We were well looked after & fabulous full English breakfast made to order. Couldn’t fault it. Location fab for us for Ryan Centre & also free parking. Definitely recommend a visit.

Good location and easy to access downtown Stranraer. Public parking across the street by the school. Must use a taxi service to get to the Stenaline ferry which is about ten minutes by car.

Friendly welcome, comfortable bed, free parking. Choice of paying for bed only without breakfast, which was excellent for me as I was catching the early ferry. Easy walk into centre for dinner, host kindly recommended good restaurants (I went to Lando's, excellent sea bass).

Not very nice experience. Free parking is parking in other premise car park. We asked for early breakfast and we were told to check somewhere else, part of a very "particular kind" of courtesy by the staff. Double sofa bed with single bed clothes, just for only £ 15 extra. Cracked timber floor and electricity issues because of the old house not well maintained. We're pretty sure not coming back there.

Good hotel near town centre. Free parking. Tea and offee facilities in the room were very wecome. Nice welcome from owner and she didnt'mind me leaving at 6am, although this meant forfeiting breakfast. I recommend this guestbhouse.

Good location in Stranraer and the ferry. Room very clean and had kettle, tea, coffee etc and hairdryer. Older property could do with modernisation but good value for what you get. Good breakfast served at the time requested, plenty of choice. Parking at the rear via a small driveway down the side of the property (looks like you are going to a dental practice) then parking up to the wall. Has a side gate you can get around the property.

Nice hotel near town centre bus stop for beaches

The lovely hotel ran by a lovely couple Nothing was a bother to them and went out of there way to be helpful. I am an elderly lady over 80 and my own family could not be better Loved my stay and will def be back

Lovely B&B in a great location

We really enjoyed our stay at Cross Haven. Gayle was very welcoming and explained everything to us on arrival. The procedure of selecting your breakfast in advance from a list of options and leaving it the night before so it was cooked at a time of our choosing was brilliant. The location was a short walk to the town centre and the coast. The room was very clean and tidy. The bathroom and shower were pretty large. The bed was a little small but that didn't detract from our stay. Overall I would recommend this as a great place to stay in Stranraer.
