"The inn is right on the seawall you just have to walk across the street to get to the beach there are plenty places to rent golf carts and other things, many restaurants nearby. And they serve an amazing breakfast by two women with the best personalities I've ever met. "

"I loved the Hotel, definitely family friendly. It was very busy for a small entrance, nobody really monitoring the entrance to have cars moving for them to unload. That being said, breakfast was a nightmare with guest grabbing a plate of bacon or grabbing a big plate of one item. No staff discouraging it. People were rude with the small elevators. Our room AC was very noisy it kept me awake every time it came on. "

"Nice hotel, hyper expensive & poorly managed: 1. Rude and unfriendly staff, including the front desk, café, and our housekeeper. Notable exceptions was Nick and maintenance staff; 2. I booked our room one month before arrival and agreed to the price of over $600 per day, bc we were part of another party. We had three rooms total. The other party had 2 huge suites at the same price across the street. However, after checking in, I discovered that three days after we checked out, the room rates were no longer $600 a day but rather $189 a day and/or also $264 a day. This is de facto is price gouging!! Furthermore. our room was very small, had poor lighting in the room and bathroom and the TV didn’t work properly; 3. Please be aware that the valet charges will not be included in the hotel bill and you have to pay separately; In conclusion, we are tired of being overcharged by these large hotel chains with local management. We’re no fools. We’ll never be returning to the Tremont or Galveston! Our rooms were more expensive than Las Vegas, New York City, or most of Europe. Furthermore, I’m contacting the Marriott directly. "

"Room was dirty .. our tub didn’t drain so the water got to ankles during shower.. breakfast was pretty good not enough seating when busy. Fridge in the room was great had our drinks ice cold .. elevator kept stopping at every floor even when you push just one floor . Beds were comfy but like I said room and bathroom dirty "

"Great stay"

"Our original room was 343. It was a nice room, but the ER was right beside our room. We could see the beach, but wanted to see the whole lenght of the beach. We moved to the fifth floor room 543 and it was perfect. And a little more quiet. The rooms are laid out well with plenty of space to store shoes, suitcases, etc. I like all the hooks on the wall to hang up coats, robes, etc. The balcony was nice. Two chairs created a nice area to sit and watch the ocean. When we arrived spring break was winding down. Between loud cars and the toruist helicopter it was pretty noisy. So if someone wants peace you may need to look somewhere else. The location was nice. Very walkable, close to restaurants and across the street to the beach. There is a lot of traffic, so crossing the road can be super dangerous. One needs to go the the street light to cross. The beds were a little harder than I like, but all the sheets and towels were a nice quality. The staff are polite and helpful. Everyone was super friendly. The buffet is the typical hotel buffet. Plenty to eat and a decent variety of items. Since the hotel is connected to another hotel, there are two separate areas to eat. Definitely helps since it is such a busy hotel. In all it was a nice stay at a wonderful hotel. I would stay there again if in the area. "
