I would definitely stay here again. The hotel is stylish, quirky, clean, well-located and was staffed by efficient, friendly people who made everything work effortlessly.
GOOD THINGS: the junior suite (206) was large; the facilities were good; the food was excellent; the service was friendly and generous; the price was fair; the room safe had a nifty internal power source for charging devices; the dressing gowns were great; the room was mainly quiet (but see below too); the bed was large and very comfortable; everyone spoke English really well.
THINGS TO IMPROVE: the room had no armchairs (the sofa was large, but not very comfortable) so it was a little difficult to relax; there is no need for a large dining table and some comfy seating would be better; the bedside tables were occupied by two needlessly large lamps that had to be placed on the floor to enable the bedside tables to be used (just get rid of them); it was impossible to get the room cool without opening the window.
THINGS TO CONSIDER: the hotel is part of a complex that has a music venue. As a result, the base sound from the club on the Saturday night could be heard in the room until well after midnight, which made sleeping difficult; and the sound from the soundcheck and during the concert could be heard clearly. There's not much you can do about this, other than ask for a room that's as far away from the venue as possible. That said, it was a small problem in the bigger picture.
