First time taking our golden retriever with us. Nice outside space designated for pups. Close enough to downtown but far enough to offer a great price. Bar area could use some updating, but is ok for a drink in the evening before bed. I’ve attended conferences here many times, food is always really good.

The Penn Stater was great for our weekend trip. Checking in & out was seamless. A few events were going on, so the foot traffic may have led to some of the debris in the elevators, et,c but the rooms were impeccable. Also, there is some landscape construction going on & it's the start if "mud season" (after the snow melts & before it's warm enough to turn back to dirt...otherwise a great stay!

Great place to stay just off campus. I found a fantastic trail run behind the hotel and had a lovely oat cappuccino post run to kick off my morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Bonus points for giving out free little mints at the check in desk. Those were a nice touch.
