"Clean, staff were very helpful, older building but well maintained. When making your reservation ask for all the hidden costs such as occupancy taxes, state taxes and resort fees per nite as you should with any hotel. Room turns out to be much more expensive than the quoted price per nite."

"The hotel is good, and the rooms are comfortable and well maintained. The food at the hotel is also good, and I enjoyed my stay overall. The only issues I noticed were the pool towels and the beach service. The towels provided for the pool are extremely poor quality they are old, rough, and worn out. I think this is something the hotel should improve. Also, the beach area that the hotel recommends is not a private beach. The staff working there do not have a clearly designated area with the lounge chairs. Instead, they only set up a few chairs as people arrive. It would be much better if all the lounge chairs were already arranged near the shoreline with their umbrellas, making the beach area more organized and comfortable for guests."

"I consider our family to be well traveled, but this hotel will remain a stand-out in regards to overall excellence. The staff at JW Marriott go out of their way to accommodate any guest need, amenity, or request. I love that this hotel still has housekeeping services daily, which seemed to have disappeared after COVID. Housekeeping not only did a thorough job cleaning our room, but actually organized our toiletries and other random things. The front desk staff gets the gold star for making my day. I was craving the key lime pie from the hotel restaurant, Latitude 28, on this property, but it was almost 11:00, so had closed down. I mentioned it to guest services and she actually called and arranged for two to be prepared and brought to our room. I was blown away by her kindness and willingness to the extra mile to please a guest. Another staff shoutout goes at the front desk for making sure my Bonvoy points we’re showing up on our account. There are more examples I could include, but suffice it to say I have am a “born again Marriott enthusiast”! Superlative job JW Marriott!"
