"We were accommodated by providing us a room on the main floor due to an issue with stairs. The room however was awful. We stayed there at the start of the trip and our room was a lot better than the one on the way back. In this room the bedding was all wrinkled and dingy, the duvet on my sisters bed even was ripped. There were no bedside lamps and there was a wobbly one standing the the corner. The bedding was so bad that I looked under the sheets at the mattress and there was no mattress protector or pad and this was disgusting to me! The bathroom floor was dirty and the floor in this room was lifting and they had glued a cheap black indoor outdoor mat to what I suspect was missing flooring. We slept in our clothes and were really upset and couldn’t get out fast enough in the morning. The location of the hotel is good but this place to me had fallen considerably below the Choice Inn standards. I did notice all the other rooms that were being cleaned had mattress protectors. Our beginning stay was ok at best but the way back was brutal. We definitely would not stay again. They had a restaurant on site and while my sister was out in the parking lot she observed the kitchen door open with no screen . Health standards obviously were not being adhered too. It always seemed busy enough just not our cup of tea."
