"Don’t try to order food to your room, it won’t come. Drinks are fine, food is fine. Rooms are dated, and it shows. The shower doesn’t drain. We went here for our honeymoon. The scenery is beautiful! Outside of the room, the grounds are kept up nicely, with lush green plants, flowers and palm trees. Some of the bartenders and food trucks people get a little cranky at times, but I don’t blame them because it’s a million degrees. If you have fair skin or are from the north of the globe, bring sunscreen, you’ll fry immediately. If you need tobacco products, buy them from a local tobacco shops. At the resort, packs of cigarettes are $30 and vapes are $60. I can’t stress enough how hot it is, so be prepared, and stay by a body of water. The room cleaning staff was kind and courteous, attending to each of our needs. I’m a fan of beer and different types of whiskey. Their piton beer is good, the whiskey is fine. And the final piece of information and the most important thing that you NEED to know. DO NOT IMMEDIATELY GIVE INTO THE PEOPLE ON THE BEACH. All beaches in st Lucia are public, so tour guide salesman walk the beach, promoting the tour service. They are pushy. It’s nice to book a tour through them because you get picked up on the beach and don’t have to leave the resort. Once they offer you a price, re-negotiate a deal that you’re willing to pay. If they don’t agree, start walking away. They can’t stand it when you walk away. That way you’ll get the best price. 7.375/10"

"I have only wonderful things to say. Everyone was so very lovely and helpful. I loved Shakina, the hostess in the dining hall, real down to earth. Attie, was so helpful when organizing an excursion. The entertainment team was great, I especially had a great time with Kimani and Elzea. As much as I bothered Emanie at the front desk, he never seemed bothered, he’s most pleasant. There are so many activities scheduled everyday, throughout the day. Food is fresh, with variety. Different theme each night. Nice sized rooms, very clean. Disclaimer: if you’re looking for a blue sea destination, this isn’t it. It’s in the Atlantic. Still worth the visit."

"We went to the Hideaway for our honeymoon and it was a solid week! While there were many great experiences and things to enjoy, the stay was not without frustrations and disappointment. If you’re looking for fresh and impressive food, this is certainly not the place. Much of the food was frozen food barely reheated and inedible. Some of the staff were fantastic and so kind while others at restaurants mainly were very unkind and unenjoyable to be around. For the money, we will likely look for another resort in the future but not a bad experience!"

"This place was super lovely. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The beach is right at your door step and they have kayaks for you to use. There is a restaurant on site with pretty good food. It is far from the main airport and there is nothing walkable but they are super helpful is getting a car for you that will usually wait to bring you back. The cars aren’t cheap but a small price to pay to be right on the beach and have it not cost a fortune. They will also help you plan any day trips and restaurant reservations. My one complaint is the showers could use an upgrade and it is very hard to find the right temperature. But that’s minor and I would definitely recommend this place."

"Truly an amazing experience here at this resort. I would definitely come back again in the future. My partner and I had a blast and the food was delicious! We had butlers assigned to us (shout out to Neil) and were truly supportive throughout our stay."
