Hello Michael, thank you for following up with your recent stay. Please know that our system allows for either heat or air and not both at the same time. During this season when it's warm during the day and still cool in the wee hours it becomes difficult to maintenance temperatures in guestrooms. Rooms are generally around 72 F. If we turned the a/c on and the temperature dips below a certain point, the roof top unit kicks off. Typically we turn the heat off completely and we DO allow the guests to open windows if they find their room to warm or stuffy. There is no a/c on in the halls, it's a cold air return where the air is drawn in from outside and passes through a chiller before blowing into the hall. Michael, I fully understand that 77 would be too uncomfortable but we would have been more than pleased to move you to another room where you would have been comfortable. If you would like to contact the hotel directly, I would be more than happy to speak with you more on this.
