It's not a beach as it's on a lake, but the surroundings will make you believe you are. The staff are amazing, kind, thoughtful and will do their best to ensure you have the best experience. "The hotel is bordered by the lake on one side and virgin forest on the other. I took 3 marvelous meals a day and the evening meal had a roaring camp fire. Staff were superb. A boat trip organised by the manager was wonderful, many lake birds, families of monitor lizards and a flock of african grey parrots! Rooms clean, food good, drinks cold, assistance with travel, infact assistance with anything. What more do you want! "

"Quiet and quaint during an early march visit. I think we were the only people staying there! Pool was great, and our room was right on the lakes edge. 50meters from the ferry terminal. Perfect if you’re looking for cheap and cheerful but don’t expect much more than the perfect base to explore the island"
