Amazingly eclectic hotel where every turn was met with a piece of modern art or upcycled modern antiques. We stayed in the Merck branded room where the bed was set upon a base of millions of capsules!! Lovely breakfast, friendly service, and good recommends for local eateries! We’d definitely come back

We stayed three nights in the house to the side of the hotel - it’s so peaceful and beautiful, with its own deck on the lake that’s even quieter than the main hotel lakefront. Breakfast is one of the best I’ve had at any hotel, and the restaurant setting is also very pretty. Staff are kind and helpful. Highly recommended if you enjoy tranquility and a beautiful view.

Lovely hotel in a very old building. Interesting room divided into sitting area and bedroom. Good facilities. Breakfast very expensive at €20!

We’ve stayed two years in a row , the hotel is very nice , clean and the staff are really friendly

Parking good, room was clean, good choice of food in the restaurant

We had a brief stop here, a nice hotel with friendly staff. We enjoyed a nice 15 minute walk up into the town centre and had a good wander round and some food and drinks, nicely located on the edge of the town. We didn’t eat at the hotel but it looked very nice.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, fantastic rooms, very large and comforable. Jacobb the owner was most helpfull and could'nt do enough for us ,an excellent host. The food was not up to the standard of the hotel though, and it was the only thing to find fault with. All in all a very good hotel to stay at and would happily book again although the food was average the hotel is not!

Quick visit only but ideally located and of good standard throughout. Would use again.

Location central but quiet. Room spacious, bed and pillows very comfy,A/C great. Lovely courtyard area, breakfast excellent.
