"Our room air conditioner was extremely loud and even woke us up when it came on at night. To get hot water in the sink we had to turn on the bathtub full blast so it got to the sink. Really? "Occasional bugs would show up in the unit. No weatherstripping on the bottom of the entrance door so there’s about a quarter inch opening at the bottom so nothing stopping the bugs from outside from coming in. Unit is very basic, bed was comfortable."

"Great room, great breakfast, plenty of parking at no charge."

"The property is at the Dana Point Harbor. One side has a view of the parking lot, the other side a view of the boaters’ parking lot and boats in the harbor. It’s a nice hotel for a short stay, nothing fancy but nice location and within walking distance of Proud Mary’s for a great breakfast and Wind and Sea for a nice Happy Hour or dinner."
