Found a great deal for a 2 night stay during low season. Location is superb at South Padre Island. Property is well maintained but you definitely can tell that it is an old building. It was clean overall but they could do a better job at it. If you can find a room rate below $120 USD per night I would stay here again, but would not recommend paying above that rate.

Property could use some cleaning on the outside, but the room was clean. Hall carpets need a good cleaning. Good room for the money.

Place was okay, wasn't as "glamoured" as it appeared to be as presented online in the photos. The room I booked was decent enough, and the staff were generally nice and helpful. The big plus was that this hotel was just minutes away from some of the best restaurants you'll dine at while in South Padre Island. It's a decent choice if you don't want to break the bank trying to keep up with the Joneses at a 5 star spot

Hotel seemed old and beat up there’s other places for a similar price that offer better maintenance and more bang for your buck. The breakfast was not the best either. First time staying there, the hotel had really good reviews as far as the hotel itself and the complementary breakfast, but I was very disappointed. I would give it a 2 out of 5 and wouldn’t stay there again having other better more affordable options.

The room was clean and the breakfast was great. The outside of the property had overfilled trashcans and the overall outside appearance was not up to par. Also we are in our 60's and there was no elevator so we could not stay in the room with the Kingsize bed that we booked due to it being upstairs.

Wonderful beach getaway—we will be back! A great hotel to stay at while you are at the beach! The location is fantastic and so close to the shore, making it super convenient. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was good, and the overall hospitality made for a wonderful trip. We really enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to coming back again next year!

Staff was very kind, first room I got smelt like straight cigarette but they let me get a different room and was very kind about it. The rooms weren’t the cleanest but not a bad hotel. Perfect spot. Easy walk to the beach.

Although the property doesn’t resemble the photos listed on Expedia AT ALL, this Comfort Inn location was priced appropriately for how it looks. There were a few mold spots in the shower, and stains in a chair in our room. But it wasn’t very poorly maintained.

Shower was filthy like someone threw a cup of coffee all over it. Sheets were stained, couch cushions were stained. Door did not close properly. Pool was filthy. Elevator is broken and guy at desk said they couldn’t afford to fix it. Save your money and go down the road.
