"If I could write a zero review I would. We had a horrible experience. Stayed for the night on our way to Arizona. Got up at 4 AM to take a shower and the shower did not work whatsoever so our family of four was not able take a shower. Bedding was dirty still. Front desk was rude and made no accommodation or even offer a discount. "

"When you can walk into a hotel and there is no one around because they are short staffed and across the street at the sister hotel you know you are in the right town. We love this place right down to the smallest details. Highly recommend visitors to stay here. Great experience and beautiful building. We will be back. - little family from BC Canada! "

"Cafe was closed. 45min to check in. Food was only at the bar till 8:00. Cafe had no breakfast for breakfast. The parking to unload suitcases was terrible. Prime rib was half the menu, but was only available on Sundays. The menu did not mention this. Fire alarm went off at 11:00 at at night. We had to call the desk to see that there was no fire!! No fire but alarm still went off for at least a half an hour. Very hard to get agood night sleep!"

"Staff was great and the room was clean. Parking is good as well."

"The room was older but cozy and clean. It was perfect for our quick trip to Death Valley for the pup fish and superbloom. Staff was wonderfully nice and helpful."

"Pros: The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Pillows were great. Housekeepers were exceptional. Cons: Room is clearly outdated. Toilet didn't work properly. When my husband called front desk to get help girl that answered asked him what is she supposed to do?! That was very upsetting. We had to have them come out 3x to repair. Wouldn't stay again unless last resort. "

"Gross - water damage on all of the furniture, no remote for tv, smelt like marijuana in a nonsmoking room. It felt dirty in there overall. "

"A towel from the previous guest had been left behind the bathroom door. The sink wouldn’t turn off all the way so water was constantly running. The toilet was weak to flush and clogged after each use so we had to go to the front desk for a plunger and plunge it each time. The shower water pressure was amazing though and the bedding was comfy. Having a restaurant on site was nice after a long day. "

"Total dive! The worst hotel I have ever stayed at in 50 years if travels. The room smelled awful, very loud street noise all night, furniture broken, carpet stained, plumbing fixtures broken, dust & hair on bathroom floor, front desk has hand written sign ‘no breakfast’ taped on desk, despite advertising they have breakfast on-line. Our party had reserved 3 rooms. If we could have gotten 3 rooms at any other hotel, we would not have stayed. We should have known when we checked in & the clerk...

"The grounds were beautiful and staying in the national park is always a plus. The views from the hotel are amazingly and you can easily walk to the Furnace Creek Visitor Center. My kids loved the pool and the ice cream shop. There are also shuffle board, corn hole, tennis and basket ball courts on the grounds that are all updated. That said there was a lot of construction on site having to do with sewer lines, especailly around our room that we were not told about ahead of time. Over all the...

"Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ely by IHG is the best alternative, in my opinion, to The Prospector Casino right next door. Breakfast is filling and free coffee is available in the lobby 24/7 for the coffee lovers like me. The not so good was that the fridge in my room did not have a freezer, as a result, I had to eat the 3 frozen meals I brought with me all at once, otherwise they would have gone bad; the ice machine on my floor was not working, and the staff could be a tad friendlier. ...

"Clean room. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Internet was good. Grocery store across parking lot very convenient. Had dog with us and there was area out back for him. "
