Excellent service, very good breakfast, beautiful surroundings.Short walk to Göta kanal, free parking, free pool. Very nice. Only really negative thing was the lack of cooling/ air conditioning. The fan we got helped only a bit. The bed was quite soft, perhaps even too soft.

Found it a bit hard when arriving by car where the actual entrance was and where to check in but also where to park the car. Once we found it, the stay was great and the food (dinner and breakfast) was really good. Especially the dinner! The only thing bringing the score down slightly was how it was very hot inside the hotel. Which I guess due to the age of the hotel but surely it must be possible to improve on ventilation or even better, have air condition installed. All in all though, a great experience!

A lovely old hotel in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately the free coffee was cold and there was no espresso in the restaurant. That spoiled the overall impression a little bit.

Wir hatten ein Superangebot buchen können und haben im Hostel - nicht im Hotel - übernachtet. Der Teil war erwartungsgemäß und nett, es fehlte lediglich ein Fön. Der Aufenthalt im Hotel, also Check-In, Lobby mit Kaffee und Keksen sowie das Frühstück waren hervorragend. Eine kleine Kritik: neben unserem Tisch im Fenster lag eine Schnupftabakdose, vermutlich vom Vorabend. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt und würden uns wieder für dieses Hotel entscheiden, wenn wir bei Bedarf ein passendes Angebot bekommen würden.

Trevligt boende.

Vi blev uppgraderade från Mangelgården till Söderköping brunn då vi blivit dubbelbokad. Trevlig personal som tog emot. Rummet var stort och trevligt och rent. Sängen var något för mjuk för mig men ok för en natt. Frukosten var över förväntan. Fanns mycket att välja på både varmt och kallt.Och för olika behov som laktosfritt mm. Nära till allt. Fri parkering. Här kan jag tänka mig bo igen.

Inte värt ett besök

Hotellet består av tre byggnader. En fin, en där tiden stått still från 1980 typ och en tredje Mangelgården. Huvudbyggnaden är den fina, var dock aldrig inne i ett rum där. Vi hade bokat Mangelgården men blev "uppgraderade" till villa där tiden stått still. Det mesta kändes dock rent och hyfsat fräscht. Men vi hamnade på våning 3 mitt i sommaren utan ac. Det var helt fruktansvärt och gick inte att sova många timmar. Vi hade ju bokat med ac. Personalen var helt oförstående inför detta. Utomhuspoolen kändes inte speciellt inbjudande. Det fanns en dyr hotellparkering och nära den en kommunal gratisparkering. Frukosten var bra men inget fantastiskt.

Perfekt boende i Söderköping

Härligt brukshotell på kort promenadväg från Söderköpings centrum och kanalen. Välkomnande personal, fint och komfortabelt rum med bra wifi. Fri parkering nära hotellet. Mycket bra frukost i trevlig miljö. Rent och välstädat överallt och gott om hjälpsam personal. Rekommenderas starkt som boende för ett besök i Söderköping. Vi testade inte deras spa, men håller det samma klass som hotellet i övrigt är det utmärkt.

Mangelgården

Vi bodde inte på Ho tellet utan i Mangelgårdens B&B. De rummen va såååååå små så man knappt kunde röra sig eller få plats med ngn väska på rummet.Lyhört, dåligt skick och varmt i rummet.Skulle inte bo där igen....lägg hellre på några kr o bo på hotellet istället. Deras spa va jätte fint och fräscht. Frukosten va kätte bra. Trevlig personal och läget är ju toppen...nära till allt.
