Amazing!!!

This place is amazing! Stunning views, fantastic tent, extremaly nice people! In the middle of the dessert but easy to find as there are signs on the way. The driving is an adventure 🙂 There was no hot water in the shower and food and drinks overpriced but otherwise I only regret we didn’t stay for one more night. Strongly recommend to anyone visiting Marocco!

We had a great experience at Nikhila lodge. Mohammed was in contact with us prior to our arrival to answer questions and confirm arrangements. The “tents” had everything you need. Our additional Camel ride and fireside dinner was amazing.

Make sure to have a great car when going. Roads were hard for a little Fiat. Need an off-road car. Food quite expensive, but is you come hungry, it’s the price to expect in the desert.

Recommended desert experience

We booked for the family to experience the desert and a camel ride. The booking team arranged transport and camels for us. The overall service was excellent, Mohammed was very attentive and accomodating. The tent whilst 'hot'! Was very comfortable. The only issue was we unfortunately we had trouble with the shower and toilet. However, arrangements were made during the stay and the booking team were responsive and took remdeial action. What more can you ask for!

They place is nice, unfortunately as a solo traveler I suggest don’t stay more than one night if you are alone. Can be very boring since there is not much to do besides riding a camel. The food was extremely expensive. I live in Washington DC and it is cheaper to eat in a fancy restaurant here. A dish for dinner was 25 euros not even including water. I definitely think it doesn’t worth it for the price. It really affected my budget for the two and a half day I spent there. However, the locals who work there are incredibly kind.

Bellissimo ma difficile da raggiungere

Bellissima esperienza da consigliare per chi ama il contatto con la natura del deserto senza rinunciare a qualche comfort. Non è però facile da raggiungere in macchina. Conviene farsi venire a prendere da loro. Io ci sono arrivato autonomamente a fine 2024 e la strada era molto danneggiata. Siamo arrivati di notte perchè Google maps ci mandava nel posto sbagliato e abbiamo dovuto farci dare indicazioni dai locali che non parlavano inglese. Fortunatamente avevo un Renegade perchè dubito ci si possa arrivare con un'auto normale.

L’endroit est magnifique et le personnel gentil. L’arrivée a été un peu lente à se mettre en place. Le dîner est très cher pour ce que c’est. En revanche super petit dej, très copieux et bon. Nous avons eu très froid la nuit et le chauffage d’appoint ne fonctionnait pas.

Excellent séjour, Les tentes sont tout confort. Le personnel au petit soin. Les repas délicieux. Tout parfait et avec le plus beau couché de soleil et levé de soleil depuis le lit! Magnifique! Pas de panique pour l’arrivée en voiture ça passe 😉
