"These large rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast really hit the spot. There was a nice variety of breakfast items. The hotel had a parking lot that was easy to access. The hotel was situated conveniently downtown within walking distance of restaurants, pubs and shops. Wonderful place to stay."

"The lodging and staff were excellent!! Our only concern is with the lighting. My wife brought knitting with her but the lighting in our room was so poor that she couldn’t knit. There was no central light and the bedside lights were inadequate. Even reading was a challenge."

"September 12, 2026. 4 nights. The room (2 queens) had plenty of space. The heater worked great when needed. Really great to have a microwave and refrigerator. Not carpeted. Bathroom a bit cramped and the bathroom lighting could have been better but neither are really complaints. Very nice staff. Only reconned the restaurant/bar, didn’t partake. It looked busy/popular. Had doubts about being so far from downtown but I had a car and getting around was easy. Not much within pleasant walking distance but I was able to easily, by car, get to Walmart, Sobeys, a liquor store, CAA (in Avalon Mall) and a BIG thrift store (Value Village) for an extra jacket, a book, an extra T-shirt and a pillow to sit on in the rental car. I’d stay again."
