Fine place to say and would stay again if in the a

My stay was pretty much as expected. Slight odor in the room and bed was comfortable. Only real issue was the bathroom sink did not drain. Must have been plugged which was a little gross to think about. But for me it was fine as I was alone and just needed a bed and quiet which is what I got.

There was some problem with my debit card at check-in, even though my room was pre-paid...never got an explanation of what was going on. Housekeeping needs to learn how to put a fitted sheet on correctly. Carpeting, especially at each room doorway, needs cleaning or probably replacement.

Just No. Very so-so.

Rang the bell up front for service. On one occasion no one ever came. Another time it took forever. Their handwritten sign inside said, “Welcome to Day Inn” instead of Days.” This was an old facility. There was an attempt to keep it clean, but overall it was just shy of rundown. Room paint color made it dark and depressing. AC unit was old, made loud knocks like someone was kicking the wall in the next room—very odd. You could see the dust/lint covering the grill of it. Pool was foggy but basically clean. Had to continually ask for towels, rather than them filling up the rack with towels. We received a few at a time. Wasn’t the worst but we would not go back there.

Didn’t use pool/hot tub, the green algae color of the water did not look inviting. Room was clean, staff friendly. Other than the pool/hot tub and a few minor maintenance issues in the room, the hotel was a good value.

The place is very outdated. It took 1 1/2 hours to check-in. The first room door was broken. In the second room, the plumming was malfunctioning, TV didn't work, they had a foam cover on one of the beds for a blanket. Now you know that was never cleaned, light fixtures had some LEDs and some regular so poor lighting. Floor was cold...laminate on cement floor. The last room was better

We liked the location, close to the racetrack. What we didnt like was when we got to the room it smelled musty. There was hair on the pillow case. Hair on the toilet seat. The curtains were ripped and off the rail. After using the pool we wiped the floor with a towel and the towel was brown from the floor being so dirty. Lightbulbs were burnt out. And the final straw for my bad review is when they cleaned the room on the 2nd night stay they didnt shut the door all the way so it was open the entire day. Anyone could have taken something from our room. When I went to the front desk to bring this to their attention they didnt apologize and said no credits would be given because this reservation was booked through expedia.

Only at last resort.

Needs updating; shower head had forceful but narrow stream unable to regulate flow; sink slow emptying; dirty under bed. Couch was dirty.. Matress had a valley on each side of bed. Very uncomfortabr. Good cable.

Quite a nice place. Good rather than Great.

The place is OK and I have been several times. It is relatively inexpensive for the area, which is full of fancy resorts which are no better. It was clean and everything worked. Air con was a little noisy and I had the impression that there was damp somewhere in the building, but the room was nice enough, with a fridge and Microwave. WIFI was reasonable and easy. It's about 15 mins drive from Road America which was why I stayed there. I will likely go back next year.

I think I had a handicap accessible room. No desk, No tub but walk in shower. despite having a drain there was no curb to keep water from spreading. The water just flowed out into the bathroom. There was no shelf for shampoo or soap. I kept it on the sink, outside the shower, or on the floor of the shower. Very wet and messy in the bathroom.

Whoa! This was not what we were expecting based on the photos. The pool looked more like a murky clogged toilet than the Caribbean blue water advertised. Sounds like the hot tub has been non-functional for about a year based on reviews we just read as it was roped off and at times overflowing. We had to switch rooms minutes after arriving when we discovered the tv wouldn’t turn on. There had also been a questionable stain on one of the bedspreads in the original room. In both rooms, there was a strong musty smell. The room we moved to had a sink that clogged and filled up in seconds, and the shower did the same, turning it into a bath/shower. The plunger in a plastic bag in our hallway shockingly remained there for two days. Guessing another room had a clogging issue of a different kind. My son and husband both developed stuffy noses and a cough likely due to air conditioning biohazards that are not attended to. This was more like a $40/night place. Please look into a different hotel. Consider yourself warned.

Lack of “HOT” in the hot-tub~

Amazing staff. We were late to breakfast, my fault for Messing up the times, and the sweet lady gathered some leftovers for my son and I. Pool area; poor! The hot tub was colder than the pool. I was talking to check in woman about my eagerness to soak in the hot tub because my back was killing me, and nothing was said to me about it’s not working. I got my suit on and slipped into freezing water. I went to desk and asked how I make it “hot”. She said oh it’s broken, we are hoping to get a part in soon... I said, “why didn’t you mention this when I was talking to you about my eagerness to use it”? No reply... Room was nice size, bathroom you have to straddle the toilet to shut the door... ceiling was damaged over bathtub. Very unsightly. Bed are not fully covering the base, and it causes you to bruise your legs on the metal that sticks out past the sides of mattress. Pillow and mattress were ok.

Wiring in the room was substandard as one of the lights did not function and even when we changed lightbulbs the light would come on and then when the bed was moved back it would go off. Staff was unavailable at the desk during breakfast over an hour and a half on Easter Sunday. The front desk Val was wrong repeatedly during that time and no staff answered. These supposed queen size bed was a full-size bed. We paid for a queen and was told that that was a queen bed. We have a queen at home and that certainly was not what we got. The pool area was extremely dark. The water was cloudy. The shower room for women had a door handle that was in operable and I almost got stuck in the shower room. There were also rotting areas of wooden frame around the door there.My daughter attempted to call the front desk for a wake up call and no one answered. She tried repeatedly! I do believe this is the worst service I have had in many years. And for this we paid $75 plus room taxes and fees! That won’t happen again! We are very disappointed!!!
