"I was denied entry as the booking was apparently not shared with the proprietor. Validation code was not recognised. No help was available and I spent a very cold night ‘sleeping’ in the car. Absolutely disgraceful. "

We were helped with early breakfasts, spa services and understanding how to call an early taxi to get us to the airport. A truly beautiful place to stay as well; unique and the interior of the room we stayed in was quaint and perfect for our needs."

"Made the mistake of booking this through Expedia, which sources the ratings from other sites. It was listed as a 7.2, and the photos are beautiful. BE WARNED ... the photos are polished and from long ago. All of the furniture is flimsy and damaged/stained/rough shape from IKEA and NOT CLEANED. From piles of dust on the headboards and black mold in the shower, to dirty dishes and stains on EVERYTHING. Expedia was not ambitious in customer care, and the company that runs this place refused to...

"We had two rooms booked, one for us and one for my daughter, it was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed for our 1 night stay. Very quiet and a good breakfast."

"Clean place, felt safe, friendly staff, good Wifi, hot shower. Free fresh coffee 24/7 at reception in addition to instant stuff in the room. Use of fridge, microwave and breakfast room all day. In a working class area with good public transport links, so easy to get around Glasgow and lots of cheap but wholesome dining options. Excellent value for money. Will be back."
