Cirka 2min gåavstand til Shanghai Stadium t-bane og du har mange butikker og spisesteder i nærheten. Men skal du til turiststedene er hotellet et stykke unna. Hotellet er heller ikke så rent.

FX Hotel is a 5min walk to the metro station (Line 4, Shanghai Stadium stop) and Shanghai Stadium. The place is relatively clean and quiet. There's plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance (there's a McDonald's and a FamilyMart right across the street). A great place to stay for convenience.

The location is excellent. Rooms are OK. But WATCH OUT, the business practices of the personnel are not serious (nearly criminal): * On arrival they wanted to charge 30% more than booked on expedia.fr. * When I refused they insisted on being paid the full price (11 nights) in advance without even presenting the room; makes you feel weery just after they tried to rip you * I finally accepted to pay 50% and told them I´d pay the rest after 5 nights; however after 4 nights they already disabled the key When complaining the staff pretended not to understand - although they master English pretty well. So be prepared for fraud trial, especially when you arrive jetlagged.

Convenient location for a great deal.

This place is convenient for the subway, the taxi and the morning jianbing, but it does have a seedy feel. Upon entering the room hooker cards are slipped under the door and the shower head kept breaking. It’s very Chinese so you won’t have English tv, but for a room a crash in walking distance to easy transport and guaranteed cleanliness - you can’t beat it! This is our usual go to for a quick night in Shanghai. It’s about 60 yuan to Hongqiao railway and airport and around 150 to Pudong.

Disinterested staff and unhelpful - when asked for directions, the man obviously look pissed. Horrible. The room too small for a "business" type of room, feels like a scam tbh. They put a office desk and a chair there to make it look business room but its a studio type of room in reality. Bad to zero wifi connection, I rely on my own phone data to get connected.

空調極差。開了空調像沒開一樣，讓晚間很難入眠，空氣不流通。清潔度一般。優點大概就是地點優越了，附近有商場食店，地鐵站就在附近。

Good for cheap and convenient business stay

The infrastructure could be improved. Certain staff is not friendly, but not all of them. Transportation is quite convenient as it locates at a commercial area with shopping malls around. No worry about dining.

Great location, but poorly maintained

Its located right next to line 4 station, you can't get any more convenient than that. The shower floor trap wasn't clear, so the toilet shower flooded when I showered. The TV is now modernised, but difficult to use the system unless you are a local. The floor tiling also was worn out.

Good neighberhood, right above the subway station

Nice hotel for the price, and cosy area. Hotel staff seems well trained to serve customers. Room was narrow, but it's ok for the price. Minimum amenity (no moisturlizer), noisy fridge are few cons.

An excellent stay!

There are several FX Hotels in Shanghai. This review is for the one on subway line 4 on Xietu rd. This friendly and clean hotel is located directly across from exit 4 of the Shanghai Stadium station. Most of the front desk The staff speaks reasonably good English. They are helpful and friendly. This is a perfect spot for the business traveler or the family traveling on a shoestring. At about $50USD, it’s hard to beat. The room pros-clean and tidy. Includes a desk and a small closet. It’s relatively quiet at night. Comfy bed and pillows. Nice glass enclosed shower with decent water pressure. Cons- the room is small but perfect for one or two. There’s no dresser to put clothes in or even a stand to set your suitcase on. I couldn’t get the tv to work but, in fairness, I didn’t ask for help. Location- I found the location directly across from a pretty great shopping mall in which the subway is also housed very convenient. The mall has a many restaurants for every taste as well as a McDonald’s. There’s also a phamacy and grocery store there. You can change money around the corner from the hotel at the friendly Shanghai bank. All in all, was very pleased.
