"This is a great hotel situated in an interesting part of Shanghai. My room was large, comfortable and very quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and good value. There are many dining options around the hotel. The hotel is within easy walking distance to two major metro lines enabling access to all the sites of Shanghai. A practical, comfortable Shanghai base. "
"This hotel is a SCAM! When I reserved this hotel through Hotels.com, I pre-paid the hotel fee. But, the employees at the desk asked me to pay ONCE AGAIN, telling me that the fee paid over Hotels.com would be refunded.
That didn’t happen. Eventually I paid TWICE. And the hotel refused to refund.
So, I was double-charged.
I think this is a classic way to lure foreigners to pay more.
The hotel even doesn’t answer the phone.
If you don’t want to be scammed, please do not use this hotel."
