We loved our stay at the Hotel Kukdo! The room was clean and spacious compared to other hotels in the area, the housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful, and it was very walkable for many good restaurants.

It's about a 15-minute walk from Myeongdong, so the location is excellent and the value for money is great. The front desk staff were multilingual, which was reassuring. I'd definitely stay here again.

staff are wonderful and the room is large, but everything is extremely old, worn, and damaged. the hotel needs major renovations and is way over priced in compared to nearby hotels that are far better in quality. it seems like there haven’t been any renovations in decades.

I stayed this hotel three times and think the location is great: easy walk to the famous Kwangjian Market, in front of airport bus stop, a few minute walk to subway station, etc. etc. There are quite few cafes and restaurants nearby and a convenient store is on the 1st floors of the hotel building. The room is spacious and pajamas and bottle of water are provided. This hotel is my first choice to stay in Seoul!

The bed is comfortable. Staff are pleasant and friendly. It’s quiet and convenient too. There is a convenience store right in the lobby. Airport bus 6015 is right in front of the hotel. It’s also close to the subway line 2 and line 5. I will stay there again in the future.

I booked a standard twin room, but due to hotel circumstances, my room was changed to a suite room, and I have spent two very comfortable days. The female staff, who spoke good Japanese, were very kind and impressive. Although the amenities were minimal, the equipment was excellent, the room was clean, and I felt so comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Their description on hotels.com need to be revised. It said there was laundry facilities but when I went to ask what floor the washers/dryers were, I was told they did not have any. Having laundry facilities was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel so that was super disappointing. The building is an older building so you can really hear everything, like if someone was in the shower, or if someone rolled their luggages in the hallway. The furniture and walls were old as you can tell from the scratches, cracks, and chipped paint. Location was good though, so close to Euljiro 4 exit 10 subway (it had an escalator - convenient after a long travel) and walking distance of 2 other subway stops with major line transfers. Also walking distance of MyeongDong.
