My girlfriend and I stayed in the hotel for a week in January 2026 and thoroughly enjoyed it! The hotel has great amenities (indoor and outdoor pools, spa, sauna, restaurant, bar, indoor/outdoor parking, ski room) and fantastic staff! The hotel is conveniently located in Val Gardena with easy access by car, shuttle and bus to local ski slopes! The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The hotel staff is superb! Very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Portillo Dolomites 1966'.

Honeymoon Oasis

I'm not sure I can express how much my husband and I enjoyed this place. It was the PERFECT getaway away from it all. There was no hustle and bustle and barely any tourists. We felt like locals as we took short walks to the grocery store and nearby restaurants. But what made this place stand out was the amenities that they provided. Every evening, we watched the sunset on the front deck over looking the Dolomites with a glass of wine cuddled under a blanket that the hotel provided. During the day, we enjoyed the beautiful and new spa & infinity pool that had a BREATHTAKING view of the mountains as well. It was just incredible how magnificent the views were. We enjoyed the hotel so much that we barely wanted to leave it. However, the hotel does provide you with daily outdoor activities to get you outside to enjoy the beautiful Italian alps by hiking, biking, etc. The hotel staff was very accommodating to make sure that you had the ultimate experience. My husband and I already talked about coming back for our 5 year anniversary.

Fantastic hotel! Stayed for 2 nights in July, hotel staff were very friendly. We were in a suite, room was clean, lovely furnishings and great view of the mountains. Bathroom was big and great shower. The hotel has a warm welcoming feel to it and lots of areas to chill out and relax. Spa area was lovely, we spent several hours lying on the sun beds relaxing.

Che a Selva Valgardena si possa vivere la montagna nel migliore dei modi penso che sia condivisibile dai molti, che nella stessa località si possa trovare anche una buona accoglienza alberghiera è noto, ma che ci si possa sentire coccolati da colazione a cena con una gentilezza quasi imbarazzante non capita spesso.
