"Nice room at a good rate, friendly staff. Food is good, bit expensive in hotel. Biggest problem is too many stray dogs running around which is very intimidating. The village should fix that for tourism. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Kato Waidi Nubian House. The staff were incredibly polite, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They arranged all our transportation smoothly and made our stay completely stress-free. The traditional grilled dinner was excellent and felt very authentic. We highly recommend staying a couple of days to experience and explore the more traditional side of Nubian life."

"The accommodation was adequate for a short stay near the Nubia Village, it’s walkable to the centre. Twenty minutes. The staff were very helpful and the location by the River Nile was delightful. "

"Hotel with great location in an artificial island . Staff friendly and helpful. Good food . Rooms needs remodeling because looks old and stained. Amenities not always works appropriately. Anyway I consider this hotel a good place for briefs stays at the city. "

"AMAZING EXPERIENCE"

"Friendly staff. Walking distance to Corniche, Nubia museum & restaurants. Great view of the Nile. Good hot water, good breakfast. Lovely, open air rooftop restaurant (if you're not there in January like we were). Wifi slow or nonexistant on our tablets. We never could get any wifi on our iphones. Room safe not bolted down. Room thermastat seemed to have a mind of its own. No indoor eating option. Breakfast was 8 degrees celsius and very windy. Everyone was freezing. (We found out on our last day that if you manage to get the one table in the NW corner, it is in the sun and is not as cold as the rest). "
