"This hotel was incredible. The location is excellent, the hotel itself is quite interesting and there are many places to explore, the food and drink were excellent - as were the staff who provided them, the room was remarkable. This is a must-stay hotel if you are considering staying in the area. I would return in a heartbeat if travels bring me there - and I would bring as many as I could."

"Having booked online a basic room, we enquired re upgrading and the staff were really helpful. They showed me a some different rooms and the process was very smooth. The staff were happy to help. We opted for the second floor and had a spacious room with an armchair and lounge which I always find an advantage after a days drive. The hotel is a little bit tired, however it’s central, it’s clean and the staff are more than happy to meet all your requests."

"My family of four stayed in the family room. We were a little disappointed, not to have a view of the town, but it is the only room that sleeps for. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast were excellent in the morning, a great way to start the day. This is a great place to spend a couple of nights."

"We were in a small room but had a lovely large patio with seating. Everything was modern, clean and well maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food in the restaurant was also excellent. It was a top notch stay!"

"Great hotel in a great location, right by the water and a short walking distance to all the restaurants at the marina. Parking right at the hotel as well. Rooms are lovely, staff were brilliant, very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were good - will be staying here again next time we are in Knysna."

"Beautiful property with well-kept gardens and surroundings. The room was very spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. The only negative I can mention is the air conditioning, which was quite loud, and the extra sofa bed, which made so much noise that we sometimes woke up even from a deep sleep. The restaurant served very tasty, high-quality food, but the included breakfast was the same every morning. There are two pools on the property, both clean and well maintained."
