Amazing attention to details
The attention to detail is outstanding, they really anticipate anything you might need and male you feel pampered and taken cared of. The property is in a beautiful spot and offer a variety of spots to enjoy the scenery or be active.

A charming and quiet spot in a beautiful setting. The room was spacious, comfortable, and exactly as pictured. Breakfast was delicious and served hot to our room. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, but gave us plenty of privacy. I would love to return in summer to better enjoy a sunset on the balcony, sitting in the garden, swimming at the beach, and paddling around the bay. Highly recommended if what you're looking for is comfort, quiet, privacy, and natural beauty.

The Tuwanek Hotel was one those places that when you book it you pray that it’s going to reflect what you see in the photos and descriptions. The Hôtel more than exceeded those prayers! A comfortable, elegant spot beautifully nestled into a quiet small coastal community. Amazing views from our African Queen suite deck, enjoyed the ambiance of beautiful natural gardens and landscape as well as a cleanly maintained hot tub, cold plunge (on the rocks!) and sauna. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed with a GREAT shower and claw foot tub. Super comfy king bed, great linens and so much peace and quiet. Bonus was the delicious breakfast which we added as an option which was delivered each morning piping hot and fresh. We will be recommending Tuwanek to many friends for a great getaway option!

Wonderful from the moment we arrived to the time we left. Absolutely gorgeous hotel and surroundings. A lot of little extras (use of kayak and canoe, hot tub and steam) Wonderful tour upon arrival. Will be back!

This property exceeded our expectations and delivered in every way. The property is very private with sweeping ocean views of the sechelt inlet. The ‘African Queen’ room was spacious with all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed our breakfast and morning coffee out on the deck watching the seals play. We especially loved the use of kayaks on property to explore the area. We did a few hikes and loved the ‘hidden grove’ trails recommended by the owner, Donna. Donna and Adrian were the most gracious hosts. They made our stay so pleasant and even went out of their way to show us how to dig for clams. We will definitely be back to enjoy this special place in the near future. Many guests we met on property had been coming back for many years and we understand why. Thank-you for a fantastic getaway. We spent three very relaxing days in this property. The hotel has only three rooms and therefore is quiet. Direct beach access with all the equipment provided for a fun Canadian experience like kayaking, snorkelling, swimming, standup paddling etc. the host is welcoming, the rooms big with balcony. The bathroom is spacious with great shower and bathtub. The room has a coffee maker, fridge, cups, glasses, plates and silverware. We enjoyed this hotel a lot and can it highly recommend.

We absolutely love the place. It was so clean, spacious and the view from our balcony was incredible! Our B&B host Donna and Adrian were so nice ! They spent time to introduce us the town let us know some nice hiking trials and Adrian made delicious breakfast delivered to the room for us every morning! We were able to enjoy morning breakfast with a nice balcony view! The hotel has its own access to beach with free access to like kayak, SUP, Canoe with life jackets and lots things to do during the stay there . Highly recommend! Easy check in with passcode and easy check out as well!

Amazing Place to Stay in Sechelt
An incredible property to stay. We absolutely enjoyed our two night stay here. The owners were great to deal with throughout our stay. We went out on the canoe and were able to see some beautiful scenery. Highly recommend this location if staying in or around Sechelt.

This was a fantastic getaway with everything we could need. Our only regret is that we had to leave early and didn't explore as much as we wanted to. We will definitely be coming back!

This was an incredible find! The hotel is absolutely fabulous. great location on the seaside and a beautiful setting. The amenities were beyond our wildest expectations and the the family running the place were superb! And to their credit, they handled the pandemic situation exceedingly well

Donna and Adrian are fantastic hosts and the hotel itself is a must stay. They have thought of every little detail to make sure your stay is complete. The suite was fantastic and the amenities are also perfect. I would highly recommend booking this hotel.

AMAZING!
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Tuwanak. Donna and Adrian were extremely hospitable. Breakfast and accommodation were 5 stars!!! No need to leave the property - many things to do at the resort.

The Tuwanek Hotel is a beautiful property that was an ideal relaxing weekend away for my wife and I. Our room was really nice and had great views. The place is kept impeccably and the owners were really friendly and helpful. There is lots of adventures to be had with all the water sports equipment supplied. I would recommend highly.

Perfect spot for a quiet, romantic New Year’s getaway. The hotel is situated in a beautiful spot, right on the beach. Our room (Sunset Beach Suite) was spotless and tastefully decorated. Donna and Adrian were superb hosts, tending to our every need and many questions, made dinner reservations for us, booked our massages, provided us with information on local walks, and cooked the most wonderful breakfasts. Due to the season we were not able to utilize many of the amenities (kayaks, paddle boards) offered, but thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, steam room and games room. We’ll be back!

What a pleasant surprise, when I booked the hotel had no idea it was more of a bed and breakfast. Donna was such an excellent host and made me feel at home. On one of the morning even pre-made me a care package of food that I could take with me since I had an early morning one day. Would stay there again! Looking forward to my next visit :)

We could not ask for more.....
From the first moment we stepped on to the property until we checked out after 2 fabulous nights, we wanted for nothing. Donna and Adrian have an exceptional property located directly on shallow water with amazing views. The rooms are well thought out and very comfortable. The games room on the lower level has a private movie room, games galore and tasty snacks included. The hot tub is conveniently located beside the sauna, which makes for a nice pit stop before heading back to the suite. Although there are no restaurants close by, there are a couple of great restaurants that deliver....I would highly recommend the Butter Chicken Pizza from Saffron and their desserts are worth the calories. The breakfast were hands down, two of the best we have ever had. Donna serves it in two courses on fine china, in the comfort of your room. There is even plug in parking for your EV! We will definitely return.

Hotel close to the beach
We have booked the hotel for 2 adults and a baby as offered in the description, but at arrival they told us that this is an adult hotel for honeymoon and any person below 19 year is not wellcome. They offered us instead a loft for nearly 400$ knowing that in August it is difficult to find a accomodation near by. The loft was o.k. but too expansive. The hotel has a new management since july 2017.
