"Everything was great"

"If you’re planning to stay here be aware that there’s a construction site next door where they are building a new hotel (look on google earth) and they start work at around 6am. Add to the fact that the is a nightclub on the ground floor that plays till around one or 2am it can get a little noisy, so if you like your sleep it might not be for you. "

"Honestly I stayed on the Diamond side the room was not what I expected, great view but definitely not worth the price there were stains all over the curtains, the little seating area in the room, the carpet left a lot of nasty stuff on my feet I had to use à wash cloth to clean my feet before putting my shoes on…sadly I didn’t know this and went to the spa to get a massage and my feet looked dirty "

"Rooms felt kind of small but reminiscent of hotel rooms in Asia. For larger oversized Americans it feels kind of cramp. The beds were comfortable. The buffet was ok but not as good as other holiday inn express in the mainland we have stayed at. But we looked forward to rushing down to get a table each morning before it filled up. The only downsides were that the AC in the room is extremely loud and noisy. If they could get quieter ones it would be perfect. Even though these are old window units the sound seemed to be inside room rather than outside. "

"We were very disappointed with this hotel. Photos are more deceptive than true. The room is very old, cracks everywhere, stains in the curtains and carpet, and walls patched and painted with mismatching paint. The room right beside us had some sort of loud construction work happening starting at 7AM almost every morning, continuing late into the afternoon, not exactly what you want for a relaxing vacation. The worst part by far was the bed. The mattress was extremely old and deformed, making it painfully uncomfortable to sleep on. When we checked in, all the hotel staff did was hand us they key and left us on our own, not offering to get our big luggage to our rooms. Even for the price we paid, they can definitely improve in many areas."

"Yes, it wasn’t as advertised on Expedia. We had to change to a new room because the photos were inaccurate. The room even had a cockroach (only one) However, the staff were very friendly and conscientious. It’s a great spot to the beach and all the shopping. No other real concern. "

"Great convenient location, everything you could need is walking distance unless you need a big grocery store. Just catch a taxi or Uber it's about $15 each way to Walmart. Beach is right there. They supply shampoo conditioner body wash and lotion. Also on 3rd floor they have sun block free . Free beach towels. I wished I had known all this I could have saved some luggage space. You can also ask for a microwave in your room. Our view was great. The only thing I disliked was the sewage smell in the 1st floor in lobby. It wasn't always but when the smell was there it was there. Cleaning service was great. If we came back to Hawaii I would definitely come back here."
