We had a family room and it was very clean and spacious. However our stay wasn’t so good here. Kids (aged 13 and 11) found the sofa bed not comfortable at all and had trouble sleeping. The cushions were too soft for us again affecting our sleep (although we didn’t request new ones) The room was too hot! The Air Conditioning was set on 18 but didn’t work that well. We called the reception for someone to check but she said no one was around to check and nothing she could do! Thankfully we were here only for a night!

Well, if you want to visit Schaffhausen, and who wouldn't, this is certainly the place to stay if you are either driving on coming by train. The parking is next door, as is the station. Room was large, clean and comfortable and the hotel's restaurant/bar really nice. It is convenient to everything, and walking distance to all you would want to see. A fantastic place to visit and to stay. Would highly recomment do anyone.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We arrived at night after a very long day of travel. Daniela was gracious enough to let us store our bags in the office before we went upstairs so that we could get a bite to eat before the restaurant closed. The bed was comfortable. The room was compact, but very intelligently laid out. The breakfast buffet, though not included in the price of the room, was excellent. The train station was just a block away, as was the charming Old Town of Schaffhausen. We were very pleased with our stay.

Excellent location, right next to the train station, and the old town. Many eateries and shops. Nice reception staff, we managed to get an early check in. Linked to the basement carpark. We stayed in a suite (sofa bed opens up for 2 kids) and the room is big and well appointed. Only issue was lack of proper curtains at the sofa bed side. Overall a great place to stay for a visit to the area.
