Service generally excellent but bin in room was full of previous people's rubbish upon arrival. No air con so room hot.

Not what was expected

The hotel is nice, most of the staff was great, the rooms are dated, but the beds are comfy and the soaps are nice. Only visit if you are a democrat.

This is another boutique Swiss Hotel. No air conditioning. And it was hot. They removed the bar fridge so we could not even keep some cold drinks. They claim of Eco reasons fails if you are hot and can not sleep. We could not stay in the room long so we spent more time down on the river where it was cooled. I would never book a hotel again with out air condition in the summer. And be careful of what you get from a Boutique hotel. Breakfast was limited. Wifi was a problem. They had limits on number of devices allowed.

Vielen Dank für die freundliche Gastfreundschaft. Das Zimmer war gross, gut eingerichtet mit Balkon und grossem Bad, bequeme Betten. Trotz über 30 Grad Celsius war das Zimmer angenehm kühl auch ohne Klimaanlage. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig, könnte aus unserer Sicht am Wochenende auch bis 11 h offen bleiben.

Hôtel "vintage"

Le réceptionniste a fait l'effort de parler en français et je lui en suis très reconnaissante. Petit déjeuner correct, prix (Suisse) si je devais retourner à Schaffhouse, je choisirais le même hôtel.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal und großem sauberen Zimmer und Bad. Das Hotel liegt an einer Straße, wodurch es werktags bei offenem Fenster mitunter recht laut ist. Ansonsten ein tolles Hotel.

Situation proche du centre mais dans la verdure et les fleurs. Hotel pratique, confortable, chambre spacieuse et très bien aménagée. Repas excellent quoique le service à table soit un peu simple. Sur l'ensemble, très bonne impression

It was a bed for 2 nights.......

The hotel it self is dated and could do with refurbishment. There is a convoluted process to get access to the wifi which actually didnt work. The bedroom is pretty basic, no frills at all. Weird thing in the room was no headboard on the bed and if you want to sit up and watch tv you would be leaning against a lamp... bit strange. Took lunch and dinner outside of the restaurant as there are plenty of places to eat in Schaffhausen. Bar closes really early and no exceptions so couldn't, what I did see seemed to be very limited options. Staff were friendly which was nice to see. Overall it was an ok stay, I wouldnt recommend or go back to be honest as it all just seemed a little tired.

Bel hôtel mais rapport qualité prix moyen

Très bel hôtel avec personnel très accueillant. Petits bemols : la chambre n'a pas été refaite, on passait 2 nuits et pour le prix on aurait aimé ce service. Manque de certains articles de douche. Par ailleurs petit déjeuner pauvre : pas de possibilité de choisir entre fromage ou charcuterie tout est sur la même assiette. Sinon super bien situé par rapport à la vieille ville : en 15min à pied on y est.
