Great hotel with lots of facilities. Quite a walk from the centre of Serranda. Lots of elements have extra charges, which can be expensive if you want to use them.

Upcharge for infinity pool

The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because they wanted to charge us 25 euros per person for the infinity pool. They said it’s not included in the price even though it’s not mentioned anywhere on hotels.com. We were willing to pay and when we came back to the desk after we put our swim suits on I was told my son, who is 13, wasn’t allowed. Everything else about this hotel is amazing.

The staff is rude : doesn't Say hello and respond when we Say it. They give us only one room card for 3 adults in the room and refused to give another which created issues and inconfort. During the breakfast, they are harcelling us to take the vessels and dont let us finish to get ouf breakfast in calm. The swimming pool in picture used for promotion is billeable 25euros. Overall i dont recommend the stay, for this Price we Can expect a better experience and services from the staff

When checking in and seeing what our room options were, we wanted to cancel our booking immediately. The rooms are not the cleanest, and had a problem with hot water at one point. There were stains on the coffee table that the house keeper wouldn’t wipe, the floors looked and felt dirty, the couches looked like there never been cleaned. The room upgrade was a waste of money as the room was very small, view was OK, the beach in the property is very small and not at all what I expected. When we tried to cancel our booking we were told we wouldn’t get a full refund and would lose the 1 night stay as penalty. When asking for cancellation confirmation the staff member was rude, wouldn’t provide a receipt, kept rolling his eyes and he spoke in a very low tone, I could barely hear him. Because he wouldn’t provide cancellation confirmation, we decided to stay as we thought Expedia won’t provide the rest of the refund without proof!! The hallways are very musty, the carpets are so dirty and stained. Breakfast was OK, coffee was extra and not included, it was €4/coffee may I add. I would never stay here again!

Decepção..

O quarto onde ficamos, não tinha isolamento acústico, nem nas paredes, nem nos vidros. O hotel, infelizmente, é hospedado por pessoas de várias “espécies “, jovens que não respeitam o próximo, com som e comportamentos inapropriados, e famílias com crianças com comportamentos inadequados também.. O ruído externo também prejudica o descanso. A porta estava quebrada, entrando ruído externo e não funcionando a chave eletrônica.. As toalhas de piscinas, você só pode trocar 1X, ou seja, se molhar na piscina, terá que ficar o dia inteiro com ela..

Unnecessarily inconvenient

Summary of our stay: Unnecessarily inconvenient. This hotel has some great things about it. but also some things that are just unnecessarily inconvenient. overall the stay at this hotel is good the Rooms are Ok. our room had a lot of things that were broken or half broken; the chairs had broken legs, the toilet roll holder was loose and the shower door was also loose. The going up buttons to call the elevator in our floor. (3rd) did not work, so we had to press the down button to call the elevator. which meant we often had to travel with the elevator down first before going up to the roof for the restaurant) it's not a big deal but just annoying. To get the towels for the beach and pool area you have to go down to the basement in the parking lot. why can't the girl sitting by the pool, admitting guest to the pool area have the towels so guest doesn't have to try to navigate this hotel? I don't know. We asked in the reception If it's possible to look at the rooftop pool area which cost 25 euro to use per person per day (quite pricy) but there was no way that was possible (If I'm paying 50 euros for me and my wife to access an area I want to see what I get). at the pool area I asked for an espresso from their espresso machine at around 1PM. but that was not possible. they stopped using the espresso machine after 11AM and only served cheap instant coffee. This hotel could be really great, it could be an amazing stay, instead it ended up being a mediocre stay at best
